Check-in on April 1, 2024, just in time for the end of Echizen crab season.It's not too difficult to find places here, there are only one or two main streets anyway. The entire community retains the flavor of a small fishing port, and you can see very beautiful sunsets close to the seaside.The hotel is family-run and the building is a bit spartan, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. The large bath is located next to the hotel. It is not big or luxurious, but has a bit of Showa era feeling, which makes people relax physically and mentally.When dining here, of course you have to eat the Echizen crab, and the other dishes will not disappoint. It is a delicious dish that I hope to come back to every year.A small hotel doesn't expect the service of a big hotel, but the staff here is kind and attentive, making it a great place to rest during a trip.

It looks old from the outside, but the inside of the building was very clean. The room, toilet, and washroom are also very clean. I was eating alone, but there was more than 2 servings of sashimi, so I couldn't finish it all. Alcohol is served with meals and can be taken to your room. The staff were very kind and greeted me and saw me off. I received some sweets on the way home and was satisfied with the price. If you want a hearty meal, why not stay overnight? I didn't see any cockroaches, and it was clean and comfortable.
