The moment I opened the door and entered the room, I felt a sense of security, as if I had come home. The interior of the room was wonderful and we were able to spend a relaxing and relaxing time. This is the first time I've tried everything such as the Goemon bath and the egg harvesting experience, and it has become the number one inn that I want my friends to visit! !

Peaceful and beautiful, this hostel is a very relaxing place to stay. The hosts are sweet and genuine, and their philosophy of slow high-quality living is inspiring. They have restored this gorgeous traditional farmhouse, which has original woodwork, beams and posts, sliding shoji screens, ranma carvings, tatami mats, and covered engawa porches. The hosts believe in restoring old high-quality Japanese buildings, and salvaging old traditional farming equipment. They don’t use a tractor to plant rice, but a traditional method with a rolling wood device that makes a grid. Nature feels very close here, listening to the gentle hum of frogs as you fall asleep on futon mattresses. It is quiet and the wind brings fresh smells of nature down the valley. Thank you so much! We left feeling very rejuvenated. We miss Mame-Chan, the friendliest cat in the world!

I stopped by while traveling alone. When we arrived at the entrance, we were greeted by the owner and his wife from a magnificent historic house! When you step inside, you will feel comfortable in the warm wooden space. We had a peaceful time relaxing and drinking tea and playing with the cats. You can experience the Goemon bath and harvesting eggs, which was a very unique experience. Chop some firewood and light it under the night sky to boil your own bath. In the morning, we harvest freshly laid eggs from the chicken coop and eat them as egg-cooked rice. The experience in nature sharpened my senses and made me realize how rich life can be.If you are in a hurry, please stop by! I think a wonderful experience awaits you.

This was such an incredible experience we won’t be forgetting for a long while! Ikuya and Yuki went out of their way for us during our stay while also being super relaxed giving us plenty of space. They are so generous and thoughtful and the sleeping/common area is ideal - ample space and comfortable bedding. 100% recommend staying here! We will be back.

Thank you for taking care of my family. Not only was the house renovated, but the couple's personalities were really nice and the space was very comfortable. It was a wonderful experience for the children, as they were able to experience burning Goemon baths and harvesting eggs, which they would not normally be able to do.The cat was also cute and soothing.I would definitely like to use your hotel again when I visit Fukui.

I stayed here with my parents and younger sister who came to visit Fukui.I've been wanting to go for a while! I was very happy to see that my father and mother enjoyed the stay as much as I did.The most memorable thing was harvesting eggs in the morning. The eggs that the chickens produce will vary depending on how well they live in the environment. For the first time, I learned how the eggs we receive every day come to us.I felt like I wanted to know more about where the things we receive every day are produced. And the chicken's butt is so fluffy! When I had chickens at school, I thought they were a little scary and hard to approach, but I guess that's not the case.It was nice to stay for one night, but I would have liked to stay for a more relaxing two or three nights! On the way home, my family and I talked about going again in the summer.
