Accommodation cost approximately 100,000 yen for two people. The tea and sweets in the room look like they would be sold in the service area.Although the drinks in the refrigerator are included, there are two bottles of super dry beer, one bottle each of cola, oolong tea, and orange juice. This alone is quite disappointing. The food was delicious. However, breakfast was about 5 minutes late, but the boiled tofu was already lit. No explanation of the contents of the meal. The rice is served in one bowl each and no ohitsu. Please call me for refills.I checked out at the place where I had eaten, but I was not sent to the parking lot and finished there.I felt that the price and all the services were not commensurate with each other.

Just a short walk from the main street, this inn is surrounded by nature and has an extraordinary atmosphere. The rooms were physically separated and I was able to enjoy a ``quiet, extraordinary experience'' where I only interacted with the staff when necessary. I also liked that the bath used Aso spring water instead of a hot spring, and was available 24 hours a day. Each meal was prepared with great care and attention, and was delicious for both the eyes and the palate.

All the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. However, since the bath was not a hot spring but had underground water, it didn't keep my body warm and it was cold. I think it's best to stay in early summer.

It was a very relaxing space that was far removed from everyday life. There were kingfishers visiting the clear stream that I could see from my room. The host was also very kind and polite.I think that politeness was evident everywhere.I was able to enjoy the meal to my heart's content with the simple Kaiseki cuisine.

Unfortunately we had a very uncomfortable stay. The biggest issue was the entire room smelt of damp and mould; because of the proximity to stream the rooms need to be ventilated properly. Some fixtures are broken to the point of being dangerous. E.g; nails sticking out of furniture, splintered wooden tub and frayed electrical cords.Food is below average, and service minimal. The hotel entrance is very difficult to see, and we were given no directions before check-in. One staff member speaks some English which was ok, however no English guide was provided at all in the room.We paid 130,000 yen, so we expected a lot more. There are many great onsen experiences in the area, and I’m afraid my recommendation is to try elsewhere.

Excellent experience. |Family run boutique hotel, with only 3 rooms. |Outstanding dinner and breakfast. |Our room was a small house, with private onsen and sauna, facing the wood. Beautiful view. Immersed in nature.|Owners took care of all details, ensuring top experience. |I strongly recommend staying 1-2 nights!

Food at the in house restaurant, Ichinokawa, was superb. Rooms were overall satisfactory, with big plus for their in-room onsen. ||Finding the ryokan was a little difficult. It’s off the main road. …

It's a secluded inn with only 3 rooms, the baths have boiling water, the view isn't great because the trees aren't maintained, but it's separate so you can have privacy, the food is very delicious, there's a variety of Japanese sake, and the road to the inn is narrow. is,
