Lovely Japanese guest house near the castle and other historic buildings and streets. Rooms and dining area overlook a traditional garden. Dinner and breakfast are offered, our traditional Japanese breakfast was excellent. Free parking close by. Restaurants, cafe and combini within walking distance. I don’t like to use Bookings.com etc so I booked by telephone using basic Japanese, reception accepts cash or PayPay, no credit cards on site. Lovely stay in a lovely town.

When I arrived by car around 7pm, I saw fountain-like water gushing out from the road in front of the entrance towards the plants, a spectacle typical of a city famous for its spring water.

A traditional inn in Ono City. The facility is old but clean. There are no shortage of amenities. It's difficult to get around in the narrow area of the castle town, but the navigation guides you accurately so there's no problem. There is a large free parking lot. It's close to tourist spots such as Teramachi, Asaichi Dori, and Ono Castle, making it a fun morning walk. However, perhaps to protect the scenery, there are no convenience stores or vending machines in this area, so be careful!I used it for a family gathering, so I was grateful for the course that didn't include dinner. Breakfast overlooking the garden was delicious. Especially miso soup. However, there was a minus 1 because the Wi-Fi was not connected.

I stayed here for one night while going snowboarding. A ryokan where you can feel the warmth and hospitality of the hostess! It was very comfortable and we had a wonderful time. Access from the ski resort was also good. Everyone said they would like to stay again.
