After enjoying the Katatetsu Roman Highway on a road bike and agonizing over the hill climb to the campsite, the iced coffee carefully brewed by the manager at the administration building was exquisite.The campsite is also well maintained, and the restrooms seem to have been recently rebuilt, so they feel clean.It rained from midnight to morning, but the foggy forest of Campsite Wood was also beautiful.It's a campsite that you'll want to come back to again, and I'd like to camp in the forest next time.

This was my first time using a paid campsite in Okayama. When I was in Mie, I camped here and there, but there were some places that were a little different.I made a reservation for a site where you can drive in, but it seems like the way to go is to reserve a spot on a first-come, first-served basis. Fortunately, I was able to secure a place at the forest site where I could set up a hammock, but personally, I would like to be able to make individual reservations for A and B.The manager is only available from 10am to 5pm, so if something happens during that time, I can't contact you.There were some people talking until late at night, and it was noisy in the morning, which was a little disappointing, but it's a campsite that costs 2,000 yen per night, so I guess it can't be helped.This time I wanted to use it on a lawn site.

I went on a weekday in early July 2024.Since it was a weekday, there were no other campers and the camp was reserved. I pitched my tent in the Hill area. It's quite spacious and beautiful.It was a hot day, so it was nice to be able to pitch the tent in a shaded area. And at night, there was a beautiful starry sky.However, there was no one else around, so when I was sleeping at night, I saw some animals rustling around the tent, which scared me a little.In the morning, after waking up to the sound of birdsong, I checked around the tent and found a family of cats taking a walk, so I guess this was the cat that was responsible for the rustling last night.October to December may be the best time to go as the weather is nice.

I used it during Golden Week.Membership fee is 500 yen or 1000 yen (500 yen if you post on SNS). This is the only negativeAtmosphere Facilities: Garbage disposal available, Bathroom discount coupons available, Kitchen available, Toilet available. It's perfect.However, insect control is a must. There are a lot of big ants.

I used it solo at the end of March.At the HILL site, we had to drive up a steep slope, but the path was paved, so there was no problem.Depending on the site, you may need to switch to enter and exit the site, so if you are not good at driving, the Grand Area may be better.The toilet was new and clean. There is no washlet or heated toilet seat, just a normal flush toilet.There is a membership fee for the first time, but I think it's still an exceptional price considering the equipment and content.About 30 minutes from Sanyo Expressway Wake IC.There are supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores, GS, and Homsaeng a little further away, so you can do some shopping after getting off at the IC, but it will take about an hour round trip after arriving at the campsite, so be careful not to forget anything. is required.I haven't been there due to time constraints, but there are hot springs nearby, as well as one on the way from Wake IC.Personally, I'm sure I'll be repeating it.

This is my first campsite in Okayama as a touring camper from Hyogo Prefecture!I went to Fujino Hagane first thing in the morning and picked up the bonfire stand I had ordered before heading out!It's a pretty wild campsite that suits my style!

I used it for two days and one night from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day to watch the first sunrise of the year.The person managing the campground was very personable and I was able to feel the warmth of the people at the campsite. (On my way home, I visited Ueyama Shrine for a New Year's visit, and surprisingly, the caretaker was there. It was also a shrine with a great atmosphere.) Don-chan, the signboard dog, is also very, very adorable.This time I used the Hill site. The sky was close, and depending on the weather, it seemed like we could enjoy a sky full of stars. It was windy and rainy when I used it, but in between the clear skies I enjoyed the starry sky.The taste of the sites changes depending on the area, and I want to use a variety of sites. The rooms are spaced apart to maintain a sense of privacy.The restrooms were also clean, with two Western-style and one Japanese-style women's restrooms, and two urinating toilets and two Western-style restrooms for men.This is a campsite that I would like to use again!

I stayed in the Auto area for a weekend in October.First of all, on the way, since it is located on a plateau at an altitude of 500m, the path to the campsite is basically an uphill climb with one lane in each direction. There is an administration building near the top.The staff were very kind and polite, and at this point I was convinced that it was going to be a wonderful camp. Upon check-in, you will receive a facility guide and explanation of precautions, and a laminated map will be handed to you. I think it depends on your check-out time, but if it's early in the morning, just drop your MAP in the mailbox in front of the administration building and you're done. I was also given a discount coupon (100 yen off) for a nearby hot spring facility at the reception.Sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, making them popular locations.Please note that spaces fill up quickly. Vehicles are allowed in the Auto area, but it is a one-way street. Each site is reasonably spaced apart, and I think that enough private space is secured.I think the appeal is that you can slowly enjoy nature while listening to the chirping of birds. It was the best chill time.

Located at an altitude of 500 meters, this campground is soothed by the refreshing highland air.The campsite is divided into five areas, and the woods area I used is surrounded by trees, and each site is built on terraces and is closed to cars, so you have to carry all your luggage by hand, but it has a secret base feeling. The silence is very nice.Although the facilities such as toilets and kitchens are not of high standard, they are sufficient. The office building is also well stocked with merchandise.Check-out time is 10:00, but when I asked to change to a late-out by adding the day's usage fee, they graciously agreed.If the season and conditions are good, you can see a sea of clouds.I'm surprised it got such a low rating. . . I wonder where people who give a low rating can go to find satisfaction. . .First of all, be aware that your constitution is not suitable for camping. Don't force yourself to do something just because it's popular; it's better to stay at a hotel that provides the service.

Overnight camping during the July holidays of 2020.before reaching the campsiteI climb a lot of mountainsIt might be a good idea to leave with plenty of time to spare.This time, I bought bread at Mugi no Hige Akaiwa store,Shopping at Marunaka Sanyo store,Get off Mimasaka Road at Saeki Interchange,The route starts from Chorakuji Temple.Please be aware that while relying on the navigation system, it malfunctioned on Yamabiko Road.Check-in at 11am,Although I arrived almost on time,About three groups are already setting up the auto area.After going around for a while,Installed near the toilet.I received a discount coupon for a nearby hot spring.I'm a timid person, so I can't leave the site and go to the hot springs.It seemed like cars were coming in until the evening.Even though it was a free site, I could kind of get a feel for where it was installed and it was very comfortable.It was summer and it was hot, but the mosquitoes didn't bother me that much.There is a goat in the administration building,I couldn't meet the signboard dog.On the way back, I put the information board in the mailbox and checked out.It was a good campsite.I would also like to stay in another area!

We used Hill as the location.I think the grass where we pitched the tent had grown about 13cm.There was also a dead pine tree, so I thought it would be best to cut it down before it fell.I guess the view from the tent is not as good as I expected.I can't see the trees growing.I wish they would at least mow the grass a little more on the way to the bathroom.I think it was scary because there was a tick that stuck to my leg.I had no choice but to use the toilet, but I didn't feel like going at night.Good points are that the hot springs are close and there are discount coupons.A perfect summer resort where the nights are surprisingly coolThe stars look beautiful.

Good pointsI think it's easy to buy an auto site with a power supply starting from 1,500 yen.It's empty on weekdays.The manager is kind.Everything is well maintained.It's so quiet that you'll feel lonely if you're solo.There is a hot spring facility nearby and the manager will give you a 100 yen discount coupon.Bad pointsI want a garbage dump, even if it costs 500 yen more.There is a lot of dirt at the bottom, so on rainy days the mud gets splattered hard.It is built on the slope of a mountain, and the dojo is narrow and has many steps. (Be careful with cars with low vehicle height)It would be great if I could see the starry sky and the sea of clouds afterwards lol
