I went there for lunch with my family. It was very delicious. The sweetfish in particular was so tender that I could eat it down to the bones. It was very delicious. Also, the landlady? The lighthearted talk was also good. It's also a place you'll want to visit slowly.

We stayed at this lovely ryokan at the end of August. It was not one of our planned accommodations but due to the typhoon more south we needed to change location and find a place to stay. What an absolute treasure it was and the staff were exceptional in every way. I arrived quite sick, caused by a virus I picked up in my travels. The staff immediately saw to my every need and expressed genuine concern and care, ensuring that I was comfortable. The owner (I'm sorry I have forgotten her name) she was so helpful as was all the staff, but the jewel was Wasim. The owner (a delightful kind lady) and Wasim gently approached me at breakfast and suggested I go to the nearby hospital to be seen by the doctors there. They rang ahead - Wasim drove me, waited for me and translated what the medical staff were prescribing from Japanese into English for me. Wasim was so respectful, patient and just awesome. I cannot express enough how grateful I was, and am for these lovely warm people. On top of that, our room was so comfortable, overlooked the river and the onsens were warm and ambient. As a vegetarian the cuisine was carefully prepared for me, delicious and I was so so pleased. I am not one to want so much attention and rarely sick (unfortunately hacking scary viral cough picked up in Tokyo) but this was an oasis in a storm for me. I highly recommend this ryokan to anyone wanting to experience the warmth and charm of local but also diverse staff as well as experience a lovely ryokan. Whilst the accommodation, the food, the onsens and the environment were all lovely and thoughtful, it was all the staff that made this jewel stand out far more than any other place in Japan that I stayed. Thankyou so very much from a grateful Australian.

I stayed here for the hanzaki festival. The hotel allows you to be very close to the celebrations and its terrace allows for an exceptional view of the fireworks. Apart from the exceptional nature of the festival, the staff is extremely kind and speaks English. The traditional restaurant and spa experience were also excellent.

I chose this ``One-day bathing plan with meal (for 2 people)'' from among the catalog gifts I received from my family as a birthday gift.Reservations available from 11:30 on weekdays during the June rainy season. When we arrived after 11:00, we waited patiently in the lobby during the check-out time for guests, and then went to the dining room from 11:30. Each dish served by the chef was very careful, beautiful, and tasted great.I finished my meal in about an hour and took a bath until 2:00 p.m. It was reserved for both men and women. Take a relaxing bath for about an hour and a half. It's not very spacious, but the compact structure gives it a nice feel. The darkness also calms down. The women's baths on this day were an indoor bath, a sauna (with a 5-minute meter), and an outdoor cold water bath and an open-air bath. The blind latticework in the open-air bath is slightly open at the bottom, allowing you to see the sand bath below. Please be careful as you may end up making eye contact if you accidentally look at the gun. I am very satisfied with the bath!!Bathroom amenities include cleansing, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The display is difficult for people with farsightedness to understand, so be careful not to make mistakes. There are lotions and toothbrushes in the changing room, but there are no tissues (paper towels are available). There is a sink, but there is no hand soap, which was a problem. The foreign staff at the front desk were very polite, but even when I rang the doorbell, they didn't come out and I had to wait a long time in the lobby to eat soft serve ice cream (550 yen) after taking a bath. I only saw three staff members, Mr. Itamae and another man (manager?), but everyone seemed kind. The signboard dog, Hana-chan, is also a very quiet Oriko-san.Groups of what appeared to be regular customers came one after another, and the lobby became noisy. I was greeted by someone from the hotel, but even though I was relaxing in the lobby, it was noisy and children were running around (even when I was eating, they came into the restaurant).I wish they would have been more careful even though they were regulars. is. My parents said, ``We have customers,'' but they didn't stop us.The staff may have been short-staffed because day trip bathing was done during the time between guest check-out and check-in.My husband said he had used the place many times when he was a child, and although it had been a long time since he last visited, it seemed like it had changed a lot, but it was comfortable and he liked it. If I have a chance, next time I would like to stay overnight and enjoy the food and baths.

A long time ago... around the early Heisei era? I heard that it was a fine inn that represented Yubara. I thought that Yubara Onsen itself was on the decline, but the hotel also seemed to have a lot of problems.Too long check-in wait. Customers have to wait endlessly to get their footwear ready.I've gone overboard with my parents' food. Even though they say it's a specialty, I couldn't help but laugh when the leftover Chinese cabbage and fried tofu from yesterday's hotpot came out.Since then, I have been calling the boiled Chinese cabbage ``Hakkei-ni'' at home.
