A hotel used on a business trip.Wifi isn't working, but in this day and age, one night with two meals is around 5,000 yen, so I think it's good for one night. What's more, it's within walking distance from Okayama Station. There are also big Aeon and convenience stores nearby.Breakfast and dinner are set meals, but a simple salad bar and drink bar are also included. In my case, I don't watch many videos while staying at a hotel, so if I decide where to eat in advance, I don't have to worry about not having Wi-Fi.Older buildings with lower prices usually aren't kept well-maintained, so I think they're suitable for people who can take advantage of that aspect.

Today's smokers are grateful that there are smoking rooms available. The rooms and services are reasonable for the price and I have no complaints. Good access to people. However, the fact that there is no Wi-Fi connection in the room these days is a negative point. The lack of an outlet near the bedside is also a slight negative.

When I checked in around 5:30pm, the room wasn't cleaned yet, so I killed some time eating in at a nearby convenience store. As I saw in the reviews, the room looked a little old, but it was well-equipped. However, I have already seen the state before it was cleaned up, so...I don't know about the public bath or meals because I didn't use them.Is there a ventilation fan that you can hear regularly from outside at night? Outdoor unit? The noise was loud and I had trouble falling asleep.

[It is possible if price is your top priority, but we do not recommend it]If you are in a group, there are no hotels available and you have to make a reservation. The location is very good, but it is old and the rooms are not very clean.Firstly, the room key was distorted and it took 10 minutes to open the room. The shower hose was torn at the base and only half of the water came out.I would like you to respond promptly.

How was it that the teacup in the room was left unwashed and with only the lid on?The cleaning in other rooms is also questionable, so I wonder if the hygiene management at this hotel is okay?I complained to the young front desk staff and had them prepare a new teacup, but the male staff, who were clearly in a higher position, hid in the back the whole time and did nothing to deal with the younger staff, which is unacceptable.

It's quite old. It's nice to have a sauna in the public bath, but it's lukewarm. This price is good as it includes one night and two meals, but don't expect much from the food itself. It felt like a ready-made side dish, and it was all cold. The only thing I was happy about was the all-you-can-eat vegetables, although the variety was small.

It's attractive that you can stay overnight for just under 4,000 yen even on Saturdays and Sundays with the Jalan coupon. It's better not to expect much food. The public bath was more beautiful than I expected.

(korean)The reason I chose Universal Hotel was because of my experience at Himeji City, which is part of the same chain. It was a hotel with comfortable rooms, a good location, and provided breakfast and dinner. (Great service that I have never seen anywhere other than a ryokan!!!)I had the same experience in Okayama. It's a really good place to stay at a reasonable price for people like me who are looking for a hotel optimized for tourism or business, rather than a luxurious stay like a 'hot stay' (perhaps that's why there are a lot of Japanese people who come to Okayama for business).A simple buffet is served for breakfast, and you can choose between two styles for dinner. In particular, dinner is not assorted, but feels like a regular restaurant meal. I really enjoyed it.Two towels are provided per person depending on the number of people, and if you do not request weekly cleaning, towels to be used that day are left at the door.Other special information1. The meal serving time is quite long. For dinner, meal tickets are accepted until 9 p.m. It seems like they are being considerate of people who come to the hotel late, but they don't notice anything if they leave late.2. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the east gate of Okayama Station. It's located behind the business district, so there's nothing you can't see or see, and security isn't a problem.3. There is a sauna on the second floor of the hotel. Available until 12 midnight4. Toothbrushes, razors, and combs are provided at the counter on the first floor. If you need it, just take it and use it.5. There is a microwave in the dining area on the first floor.6. There are foreign employees who are fluent in English, so you can communicate in English even if you cannot speak Japanese.7. Aeon Mall is right across the street, and there is a Lawson convenience store a 1-minute walk away.8. There is a streetcar stop 5 minutes away. Easy access to Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden for 120 yen (be sure to take the tram, a little-known Okayama specialty).I had a good stay. I recommend this hotel.
