I was staying overnight for the purpose of visiting Bisei Observatory, but a room suddenly became available the day before, so I used Kura Inn Kamon Ikeda. The room is spacious and comfortable, and although it is a bit of a walk, there is a large hot spring bath, so I think this price is worth it.Looking forward to future development, what points would you like to improve?★I want lace curtains(If you open only the thick curtains, you can see everything)★I want a light on the desk mirror(The window and mirror face each other, making it difficult to apply makeup in the morning due to the backlight.)★Please close the door before check-in(I went into the wrong room)The atmosphere in the main building when I checked in was nice, so I would like to use the main building again.

●Buildings/facilitiesI was expecting it to be targeted at foreigners in a Cool Japan style, but it didn't feel like that at all, and was honestly used by older people as a Japanese accommodation facility, so I was able to use it without feeling out of place. As an effort to revitalize the local area, the townhouses in the post town of the Edo period have been renovated and used, so some of the stairs are steep and some places feel narrow, but on the other hand, the concept of building a townhouse has never been seen before. It was very nice to be able to feel the history.Although it doesn't have all the facilities as a city hotel or luxury inn, you can feel that they take care to ensure that there is no inconvenience. Also, it may depend on the room type, but it was nice to have a toilet with a hot water flush (and TOTO👍️). I used it comfortably ☺️●BathThe room bath is a typical unit bath. The large public bath had an indoor bath and a slightly smaller open-air bath.●StaffThe staff were friendly, tactful, and provided proactive support.Coupled with the atmosphere of the post town as a whole, I was able to spend a relaxing time.I would like to use it again

I had lunch. There was a system where you could choose between two types of lunch: the post station lunch and the pork cutlet lunch. I received someone from the hostel. The appetizers came with sashimi and freshly fried tempura in a colorful and beautiful arrangement, giving it a seasonal feel, and the delicious flavors of the ingredients made it a delicious lunch for the eyes. Dessert was included, and I was able to relax and enjoy the meal in an elegant space. Thank you for the meal.

Since I was traveling alone, I stayed at INN KAMON, which was far away from the main building. …

On my way to visit a grave during Obon, I searched the internet to find a place that had Japanese food that my parents could eat during lunch time, and this was the first place I found. Although the prices were reasonably good, we all felt that the food was actually better than the price. In addition to the picture, we ordered freshly fried tempura and orange jelly for dessert, which came with an iced coffee. The price of ¥2,000 including tax felt cheap considering the taste, volume, use of the utensils, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant. It has become one of the stores I would definitely like to visit next time.
