The inn itself had a pleasant stay where you could enjoy the atmosphere of the Bikan Historical Quarter. The room was clean and the welcome drink peach juice was delicious. It was lively with biker gangs running wild outside until around 3 a.m., probably due to their free time.I think it would be a better place to stay if we installed mosquito sounds and other equipment to eliminate pollution.

I never get tired of watching people come and go from the window. The interior was furnished with high-quality crafts and was a very luxurious space. The staff were very friendly and made us delicious cold tea and told us about sightseeing and recommended places to eat.As a welcome drink, we were served peach juice and financier, which is also served at the popular restaurant next door ``Yurinan''. The interestingly shaped cup is called Momojiri glass. The bath is a Goemon bath, but I was relieved that the water was stored instead of being boiled from below.I stayed overnight without meals, but there are many restaurants nearby, so it wasn't a problem. In the morning, we went to a bakery that the staff told us about, and ate in the room with some tableware. It was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave.

This place is very nice. More like a little apartment than a room at an inn. There’s only one guest room in this inn but it is made up of a large bedroom, a large lounge room area overlooking the historic street, a small landing area at the top of the stairs and a wash basin room all upstairs. Downstairs is the toilet, bathroom and Japanese tub/wash room. Stairs are a bit tricky if you are tall so watch your head. Architecture is very traditional and beautifully done. Place is nicely appointed in minamalist style with local craft furniture and small items. Very quiet and in great location. Staff were very helpful with perfect English.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was perfect location. Walking distance to everything. The staffs was very friendly and kind. They explained and recommended restaurants around the inn plus made the reservation for the Yakitori place near by for us. The yakitori place also the best dinner we have during our 15 days trip in Japan. The Inn is comfortable with heater and AC. They provided futons for sleep and their peach drink as welcome drink was the best. The bathroom was downstairs you have to walk down for toilet with washing machines inside. The bedroom includes the sink with mirror, small area for living room, balcony with rack for hanging the clothes and writing table with chairs. Everything was clean and they can call taxi for you at check out to go to Kurashiki train station.
