In August 2019, I used the Seishun 18 Kippu when I stopped by Kurashiki during summer vacation when I was in my second year of high school. If you request a pick-up by phone before 7 p.m., they will pick you up at Kurashiki Station. It's located on a small mountain, so the view at night is especially spectacular.

I stayed there many years ago for two weeks. The owners are very friendly. The location is not too far from Kurashiki station, although you will have to walk.

I stayed here a few years ago during a long weekend because everywhere I called, including the APA Hotel in front of the station and the local business hotel in Mizushima, they were fully booked. I'm curious about what you wrote about the owner's personality, but I didn't really get a feel for it because I only interacted with him at check-in. The view was good because it was on a hill.

I suddenly decided to go on a trip to Kurashiki♪If I didn't have a place to stay, it would have ended immediately, but I was able to stay overnight there, and thanks to you, I was able to relax and enjoy some sightseeing. Thank you very much. It's located on a small hill, so even though it's close to the Bikan Historical Quarter, it has a beautiful night view! What's more, it's a pleasant morning surrounded by the forest and the sounds of birds chirping.Even though it would be difficult to climb the hill, he came to pick me up at Bikan Historical Quarter and was very helpful. If I had planned my trip a little more carefully, I would have been able to hang out in a hall with a cute fireplace, but I'm sad that I fell asleep right away, but I'd like to visit again next time.It seems that the number of such cheap and warm youth hostels is decreasing year by year, but you can stay there even if you are not a youth hostel member, so please come and visit us. I could also use paypay ◎A kind mom will welcome you ☺️

The inn is located on a hill past the Bikan Historical Quarter from Kurashiki Station, so it's a bit far. But it's cheap and comfortable. The hostess will also give you lots of travel information. …

I've never stayed there before, but I know that my parents' grave is right next to it and the view is nice. I'm a little disappointed to read that the host has a bad attitude, but I can recommend the building for its Showa era feel and the great location. Why not treat your bad attitude as a memory of your trip?
