Close to restaurants, such as Perry Road.A place with a good atmosphere.Good for a walk in the evening or morning...I stayed in a luxury room,Much more satisfied than the photos on the hotel website.The view from the window is also good.Washing machine available (soft detergent and fabric softener available)If you come by car, there is a parking place,High points.To the friendly and beautiful owner,Instead of having them mechanically send you a check-in method, you can directly respond to them.Recommended spots etc.I recommend that you talk to me.Nice to have bicycles available for rent.(Note) Check the air and key before boarding!(I had trouble locking both of my cars when I was out.)It's a bit disappointing that the staff in China live together...I was looking for a futon and found it in the closet.I don't feel good about having personal luggage.The rating has dropped.

wonderful little guesthouse in a quieter part of Shimoda. we stayed in the villa, which is separate from the shared guesthouse area. it's about a 12-min walk from Izukyu-Shimoda station. there are plenty of taxis available at the station to take you here, but no one will know this place by name. you'll have to provide the driver with the address.the interior has been renovated, but it's still quite reminiscent of "older" Japanese homes, with tatami mats, a completely open floor plan (like a large studio apartment), and large windows. all told, the space can sleep four. we stayed in it as two.we found the place to be very clean and well-maintained, with no real signs of disrepair or disuse.it can get cold at night, but we didn't mind too much. also, the room area for the villa is on the second floor, with the only access being a narrow staircase. i wouldn't recommend it for people that might have trouble going up and down stairs.the kitchen is quite large (it's part of the living area), and cooking utensils are available for use. we didn't use them, but this is definitely a good spot for people looking to cook at least some of their own meals. there's also several great restaurants within walking distance.all told, we had a great time, and would definitely love to be back! a big thank you to Matsuda-san for accommodating us at rather short notice during a very busy time of year!

It was a very nice inn that was renovated from an old private house. I could see the owner's ingenuity and consideration in every area, and it was very comfortable.There are many delicious restaurants nearby and a small hot spring, making it a very convenient location. I want to use it again! !

Although this is an old house renovated, it is very comfortable for travelers who just sleep. The toilets are clean and everything in the kitchen can be used. It is very close to the fresh food supermarket. You can also ride a bicycle to go around in the morning👍The hostess ShuKa is so kind!

I used it on a solo bike touring trip.It might be a little far if you take the train.There is only a shower at the accommodation. Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. There is a public bath right next door, so if you want to soak in a bath, we recommend it.You are free to use the kitchen and refrigerator, but please bring your own toothbrush and night clothes.

It seems to be a DIY inn built by the female owner. The episodes that were carefully crafted one by one were very wonderful.In the summer, you can hear the sounds of drums and flutes during festival practice, so you'll definitely feel the Japanese summer of Shimoda!

Japanese style cozy hotel!If you are looking for a Japanese house experience, this is the perfect place for you! Beds are very comfortable and all of the kitchen utensils are available at the Japanese style kitchen. The location is quite close from the station and the owner is super-friendly and knows all about Shimoda. It was a perfect choice I had made for this trip! Definitely come back again on my next Shimoda trip.
