I was very satisfied with everything from the customer service, food, hot springs, and atmosphere of the inn. All of the dishes were especially delicious, and the salt-grilled rockfish was grilled over an hour in the hearth and had no hard bones. This is an inn that I would definitely like to stay at again.

We had dinner and breakfast at Irori. It was my first experience. Grilled meatballs and beef shabu-yaki for dinner, and grilled mackerel for breakfast. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great.By chance, a geisha called by another guest was there, and I could hear the shamisen playing from outside the room. This also has a nice atmosphere. It was a good experience. (I got it for free (^^)It's a quiet inn in an old private house, so there are no vending machines, and it's not lively or lively. Nowadays, it is the best way to avoid such things and enjoy the extraordinary old Japan.

A small inn located an 8-minute walk from Higashiyama Onsen bus stop.As soon as I entered, I felt like I had gone back in time. What era is inside the room? There were so many old things, TVs, desks, magazines, etc. that it felt like I had traveled back in time. The atmosphere was very relaxing. As the name suggests, dinner consisted of Irori cuisine and local Aizu cuisine. We started with rockfish, then local chicken meatballs, then grilled local chicken on a crystal plate. The rockfish had crispy skin and no odor and was delicious. When you bite into the meatballs, the juice comes out and it's the best. The chicken was also very chewy and full of flavor. And, to finish off the meal, there was fragrant 100 percent soba noodles. The grilled mackerel for breakfast was really delicious. The skin was crispy and the flavor of the mackerel was so succulent that I could eat several bowls of rice. In addition, the chawan mushi made with eggs from local chickens had a smooth and gentle flavor packed with the flavor of local chickens. The best.I thought the bath would be small, but it was really small and I felt calm. Although the hot spring water was fixed for men and women, the baths can be reserved for free from 8:30pm to 11:40pm, allowing you to enjoy a different type of bath. However, as it is an old inn, unfortunately there is no security. The only thing there is a safe in the room. The door I lock is also a sliding door, so I'm a little worried... It may not be suitable for the nervous, but it's well worth the stay.
