It was late summer in August 32 years ago, and I took my wife and my 18-year-old son to stay at a guesthouse in Kumomi.When we arrived at the guest house in Kumomi, we were taken to our room, had dinner, put the kids to bed, and just as I was thinking that I was going to have a good time with my husband and I, there were other adults in San's room next door. A loud and noisy party started with some customers in attendance (lol)My child couldn't sleep and cried a lot because of the guests at the big party!Even when I told the owner of the guesthouse about the situation, he didn't pay any attention to the guests who were having a large party...I couldn't stand it anymore, so I ran away from the guesthouse just before 7pm.32 years ago, I ran away from the hotel that day, and with no place to go, my father and son were left at a loss at a gas station in Matsuzaki💦💦💦The three pathetic father and son happened to be at a gas station!The proprietress of Shinshima, San, called out to me and asked if I would like to stay at her inn if I could.The proprietress, San, said that all of her employees were on vacation today, so no one was there. If you liked it, I asked you to come and stay at my house.I was taken to Shinshima by my wife, and I was astonished when I arrived at Shinshima.It was amazing.The storefront and the room were amazing.We were shown into a large room with more than 12 tatami mats. I was astonished✨Even though there was no staff, they even served us a delicious breakfast with delicious reeds (lol).At that time, I felt like a god (lol)I'm now 61 years old and have a grandchild, but I'm sorry for writing my gratitude so late (lol)I really appreciate the proprietress San✨Thank you Shinshima-san💕

It's a quiet place with good customer service, perfect for relaxing. I was satisfied because the rice was plentiful and delicious. Personally, I find it difficult to wash my body in the private open-air bath because of the draft. The water level in the bathtub was low, so it was difficult to warm up. It might be just right in the summer.

The cost is about 20,000 yen per night, including dinner and breakfast. There are two types of baths: an open-air bath, a family bath, a men's bath, and a women's bath. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I made a reservation for the open-air bath, and after eating dinner, I took a bath in the open-air bath Sakura no Yu, and then reserved the open-air bath Tachibana no Yu for the next morning.The next day, I woke up at 5 a.m., so I went to the women's bath and came out.The family bath was empty, so I went in there, too, and took the Tachibana bath that I had reserved. There are so many baths that you'll want to complete them all. The hot water feels smooth and doesn't smell bad.There are parts of the building where you can see old stairs and old rooms, and it's fun to see three-dimensional plaster paintings on the walls and a brazier.

I used it on a girls trip for 2 nights and 3 days! I chose this inn because I wanted to take a relaxing trip to the countryside with friends I hadn't seen in a long time, and it was the right choice! The food was delicious and the room was clean and I was very impressed.Especially the dinner was wonderful. When I told them in advance that I don't like raw fish, they changed the menu from sashimi to carpaccio, so I was able to enjoy dinner even though I don't like raw fish.The fish dishes served at this inn are fresh, have no odor, and are very delicious! 😋🍽Meat dishes such as beef stew were also exquisite!I would like to use it again🥰

A delicious and filling dinner.This hot spring inn is full of history and art, with ``Chohachi'' produced by Matsuzaki Town and trowel-e works on the premises.Although we were the only ones on the day I stayed, the service was excellent.

First of all, everyone at the hostel was kind and nice. Although the building is old, it was well kept, clean, and very comfortable. And most of all, the food was delicious♪︎I chose the spiny lobster sashimi plan, and it was a great decision! They closed the table according to the eating time and kept moving until the time I finished eating the sashimi. No matter what else I eat, it's delicious and I'm impressed. The next day, they made miso soup with the head, and I even enjoyed the miso. Cleansing, face wash, lotion, and emulsion were available before and after the bath, and there was also a men's care set in the sink next to it. A 3-year-old child was also with us, and there was a picture bookshelf near the sink, so the parents could take their time caring for him. I was so happy with all the care that was taken that I couldn't help but write a review♪︎I would definitely like to visit again.

Poor cost performance. I haven't been able to sleep for two nights because of people making noise in the middle of the night, and I haven't been able to respond to complaints.I was left with some emotionally unpleasant memories. I'm feeling hazy.

There is a sink and toilet in the room. The only way to take a shower is in the small bathhouse downstairs. In addition to the men's and women's baths, there are also family baths, which you can use directly if there is no one around. No reservation is required. There is also an open-air bath, but reservation is required for 1,000 yen per person. We originally wanted to use the open-air hot spring, but we didn't know we needed to make a reservation. We thought the family bathhouse was just an open-air hot spring... What a pity.

It was an inn with great hospitality.Despite the difficult situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we were able to have a comfortable stay thanks to the friendly staff who responded to our request.The coexistence of crabs and medaka in the open-air bath was also very nice and made me feel at ease.I would definitely like to make a reservation again.

There is a storehouse with old sea cucumber walls inside the building, and it is a wonderful inn.The food prepared by the host, who trained at the hotel, is also very delicious.He is also an Izu Peninsula geo guide, where you can excavate fossils, make Yuru Camp figures, and listen to very fun stories.They will also guide you through the town, where old warehouses and merchant houses still exist, and geosites.``Shinshima'' refers to the land (island) that was reclaimed during the Edo period at the mouth of the Naka River that flows through Matsuzaki Town.

It's a wonderful inn with good hot water, good food, and pleasant hospitality. The atmosphere is perfect for Matsuzaki, a town where you want to walk around wearing Japanese clothes. There is an internet environment space, so it is also recommended for workdays.

Excellent customer service from employeesI felt very comfortable with the polite and calm response.The building is old but had a good atmosphere.Feel free to use the private bath as well.Recommended for couples and families too! It's close to the sea, and I think you'll enjoy strolling around town.I would like to use it again when I go to Shizuoka.

Good location, great food, great customer service, this is the place to go when you're in Nishiizu.It's also nice to have two open-air baths. There are also family baths, gender-separated baths, and a variety of other baths.The building itself is a very valuable building with a long history, so it has many charms and a profound feeling. The meals are a good balance of Japanese and Western food, and the portions are generous. We are very satisfied with not only fish and shellfish dishes, but also grilled dishes, ceramic dishes, meat dishes, standard dishes, chopstick rests, aperitifs, and desserts.The guest rooms are usually used by 3 to 5 people, but I use a large Japanese-style room, and there are no problems with it and the space is sufficient, so I have no complaints.As for customer service, the proprietress and all the employees are polite and considerate.I have used them many times and am always very satisfied. Please continue to do soI would like to use it. There is a cute black cat 〇〇 and a crab and a medaka in the open-air bath.
