Came here for the private onsen. It was beautiful, well furnished, and came with a room to wash off, a mini onsen, and the big wood tub. Also, theres lots of towels, hair dryers, and sinks. All to ourselves! Pretty amazing. And the kaiseki dinner was fantastic with the exception of the rice stir fry - the mushrooms and fish were particularly great. More value in this onsen with the room than I ever could've expected, and nothing but friendly service. and they have a trampoline!!!

I had some business to do in Nose, so I only used the hot springs for a day trip on the way back.If guests such as glamping guests also use this place, I definitely don't want to use it.The hot springs are very old and poorly maintained, probably because they bought them from somewhere else.People are careful not to spit up phlegm in the washing area because it can get clogged, but it seems like the plumbing hasn't been maintained or replaced at all.It seems like the changing area is shared with the pool, so my feet were all wet, and the only women's toilet was all wet and disgusting. The restroom outside the changing area was also too smelly for children to use.It was cheap, but the lack of cleanliness made it feel like a punishment game, and I regret stopping there on a rough road. I took a bath again at home.

I used it for a day trip from 13:00 to 18:00, and it was cheap because it was Ruri's day, and I was able to relax and refresh for half a day.It was noticeable that older people were using the bathtub, and I saw them having a lot of trouble getting in and out of the open-air bath, and some of them almost tripped over it.I wish there was a handrail. After thinking about this, I decided to request that the mat at the bathroom entrance be replaced frequently. It was really nice to be able to enjoy the moon viewing bath, and I would like to use it again.

The young man (who was transferred from Okinawa) who taught me how to cook at the BBQ was very accommodating and made me feel comfortable! That alone is worth it!I thought it would be even more fun if there was something soundproofed in the room.

Thanks to all the wonderful staff, it was a happy holiday for our family.First, we rode in a buggy, and it was like being at USJ.We had a BBQ at the accommodation, they made roasted sweet potatoes for the kids to enjoy, and they helped the kids with fine play at the pool. The hospitality of the staff is excellent at all facilities.I can see why it's so popular!

I didn't stay overnight, but my husband and I went on a day trip to the hot springs. There is a mixed bathing area where you can wear a swimsuit, so I was happy to be able to soak in the hot springs with my husband. However, since it was Sunday, there were so many people and so many lockers that it was difficult to change clothes! After getting out of the hot springs, I went to a rest zone to take a break, but there were also a lot of people here. .I wanted to go to the bedrock bath, but there was no space so I gave up.I learned that hot spring facilities have poor rotation. .The hot springs themselves seem to have been around for a long time, and the resting areas were very clean and modern! There is a place a little far away where you can experience buggy riding! The course was fun! !There is also a restaurant, and the mackerel sushi and desserts were delicious.I ordered a mushroom and yuba croquette, but it was cold inside, so when I asked about it, they responded immediately and prepared piping hot croquettes for me!It was beautiful at night with illuminations.

I stayed at Rurikei's Hanaakiri hotel and it exceeded my expectations! My partner and I are studying abroad in Japan and wanted to experience onsen, but we are both transgender, and going to normal onsen is not easy. In this onsen, there are gendered changing rooms, but you can wear a swimsuit and swim in co-ed areas. In addition, my partner (who is too shy to swim in public, even in a swimsuit) could use the private onsen with me because we stayed overnight at Hanaakiri. This is the reason we picked this onsen.I was willing to spend a lot of money just for that, and I was happy with the price. But it turns out that the amount we got was much, much more. We recieved so many "presents" and other free items. We had an incredible kaiseki dinner, a free drink service, some cheesecake, a face mask, yukata for use in the rooms, free breakfast the next day (elaborate, carefully constructed Japanese-style breakfast) and more things that we didn't take advantage of, like a bonfire at night, an illumination show, and many things at the bathhouse. Speaking of the bathhouse, there are normal no-clothes gendered onsen, and then the "バーデ Zone" with many co-ed swimsuit baths (this is the place I spent most of my time). I also briefly checked out the Lantern Terrace where there are many comfy places to read manga and relax in the provided loungewear. I didn't get to check them out, but it seems there are many rooms with various features there, like a place you can take a nap. All those features are free for people staying there. I also had a smoothie and had some "fish therapy", but that cost money.Anyway, it was much more than I expected it to be for the price. The value is incredible. Finally, for other English-speakers- I recommend knowing some Japanese if you go here. I'm not very good at Japanese but I think the limited amount I had was important. When I didn't understand, which was very frequently, I could use Google Translate to bridge the gap. Also, the cultural gap can be difficult, so research before you go (how kaiseki works, onsen manners, the rules, medical warnings, etc.) Especially since most signs are in Japanese only, and in the baths for example you cannot being your phone to translate, you simply have to read the room and make educated guesses sometimes. Good luck, fellow foreigners!

My usual pattern is to wear my swimsuit and have fun in several types of baths, open-air baths, saunas, and pools, then shampoo, wash my body, and take a leisurely soak in the radon hot springs. Since you can enjoy so much with the casual plan and it's so reasonably priced, I'm a frequent repeat customer.
