A good old Japanese inn from the Taisho era. Carp are swimming in the courtyard. Therefore, there is no consideration for barrier-free access.Although the building is appropriate for its model year, the bathroom, toilet, and sink have been renovated and are clean. There is also Wi-Fi, so you won't have any trouble accessing the internet. However, there is no refrigerator in the room. I want it even if it's shared.

Stopped here prior to touring the Iya Valley. It's in close proximity to transit. ||Awesome time here at this older, traditional Ryokan. From the bath, to the amazing food, and the owner is the sweetest woman you'll meet. I would definitely go here again if in the area . You will feel taken care of

Good points first:- close to station- big bathtub- fairly clean- wifiThat’s it honestly.I felt sad staying there. The room is gloomy due to the location in an arcade. The staff is unfriendly and makes you feel like you are a bother to them. When I arrived I had to shout for 5 min at the entrance until someone finally showed up and gave me the bare minimum of an explanation. The same happened to the other guest staying there. I could hear him shouting from my room. After that no one was to be seen at all. If you have a question, good luck finding someone.Breakfast was fairly tasty, but not enough. And it was all cold.Early breakfast is impossible by the way. So if you have to leave early for work or are a pilgrim, that’s a huge problem.

Bad first impression. No matter how many times I open the sliding door and call out to them, no one comes out. This inn is around here... After being sent to the room, "leave it alone". There was no communication about meals or baths. No matter what I asked, they just said, ``I don't know because I'm in charge of something else.'' I thought to myself, ``Hey, are you going to do business like this?'' The food was great, including sweetfish and dengaku, but it was all cold. I stopped eating when I saw that the ``Nyumen _ I think Handa Somen'' that was finally served had soaked up the soup stock and had become cold and spread out. ``There is no love for the ingredients at all.'' You can't feel any hospitality toward the customers. ...There are many inns, but this is my first time.
