Fantastic stay at the beach with the most loving hosts. We enjoyed living a humble life with great hospitality. We paid for breakfast each morning which was perfect (eggs, homemade bread, fruit, etc) and also did a couple special dinners (just ask! Hiro might roll up his sleeves and do a homemade sushi special for you… don’t forget the whiskey). Rented surfboards and wetsuits easily onsite as well as getting tips for which breaks to go to based on the daily conditions. Rooms are humble, more of a hostel and the place is up against the seawall to one side and the road to the other side, but if you want a place to crash and to feel like a local with the warmth of a family stay - this is it! Lots of sites nearby including temples and waterfalls and some good local eats.

We stayed overnight on the way to Cape Muroto Lighthouse.I don't surf (^_^;)The comfortable space and the kind personality of the owner and his wife completely relieved my fatigue. They served us new rice, and the whitebait made with just squeezed kabosu was also great! Also, I choose this place when I go nearby!

There is a 2-year-old girl named Shiki-chan, and she is very cute, and she serves us seafood bowls and other meals that take advantage of the beauty of being near the sea! !

Came as a Henro, left wanting to also be a surfer. Maybe another year? Their food was incredible, it was really worth the extra money. Very friendly and a good place to mingle. I could grab their bike for free to keep exploring the beautiful beaches around.

I was invited by a friend who is a repeat customer to stay here before Golden Week. It is a multi-purpose place where you can enjoy surfing, SUP, and pilgrimage. The owners are very friendly and the food is delicious, making this a must stay place in the area. We will stay overnight as the final chapter of our next walking pilgrimage.
