I stayed here about 4 years ago.The room was clean and the hot spring was nice. When I looked here to visit again, I was told that it was temporarily closed, so I hope it reopens soon.

During my stay, an employee entered my room without permission while I locked the room and left for a while. …

2019.5.1-2 VisitI stayed at Golden Week without meals.I thought it would be crowded since it was Golden Week (Chunichi), but the inside of the building was quiet and comfortable. It can't be helped that there are a lot of insects in a place with a lot of greenery. Both the room and the bathroom were well-cleaned, and it wasn't too hot and my skin was moist. However, since we were staying overnight without meals, we had to go to Chichibu Station to eat dinner, which was unexpected as there were not many restaurants and all of them were closed. (I didn't do enough research)I wonder what kind of food would be served if the meal was included? The inn itself was perfect, so I would like to visit again during the peak autumn foliage season.

I think the hot water and food are good. Since it is a ryokan in a mountain village, there are no hot spring resorts or busy shops nearby. However, it is not an unexplored region or extremely remote, and there are railways and national highways passing through it. I like that you can easily visit here. I think it would be a good idea to stay overnight during a pilgrimage to the temple.

The bath overlooking the Arakawa River was very comfortable. Dinner was served in the room and the bone sake was delicious. It was a cold day so it really warmed me up.
