This is a hotel attached to the Mission Hills Country Club, a mountain golf course. Perhaps because it was built during the bubble period, it is luxurious and spacious, but perhaps because of that, it now has limited electricity and space, so it may feel a little lonely. There are two types of guest rooms: those inside the clubhouse and cottages built next to the course. We used the cottages, but we had to walk outside to the clubhouse for meals, baths (not available in cottages), etc. There are some troublesome points such as not being able to do so. However, the view from the cottage on the mountainside is spectacular, showing the cityscape of Nagatoro at night, and in the spring and autumn, a spectacular sea of clouds in the morning (due to the topography of the basin and the river, strong river fog tends to form). The probability is high. Also, wild deer can sometimes be seen on the course around dawn, and you may even see deer running along the course with a sea of clouds in the background.

I've never stayed there, so I'm basing my impressions on the appearance, location, and reviews.

The clubhouse is completely clad in marble and has a stately structure reminiscent of the bubble era.Since the Heisei era has progressed, we no longer see such gorgeous designs, and it makes me feel that during the bubble era, everyone believed that things would continue to rise. The accommodations at the clubhouse are spacious and have a calm interior, but the balcony is covered with a high wall, so you can't see the outside view and feel like you're inside a wall. This seems to be to prevent the inside of the room from being seen from the golfers' line of movement, but this could be improved. I looked around, but all the rooms in the clubhouse were covered with high walls. I think the room would be brighter if I at least cut it to half the height or planted plants instead of walls.Well, if you want to see the outside scenery, it might be better to stay in a cottage.

There were no smiling faces from the workers, and the service seemed to be minimal. I probably won't go again.
