Perfect staff service and food. When you open the window, the sounds of insects and the sound of the river will soothe your soul. I would like to go in seasons other than summer as well.

It was terribleAlthough I arrived early, I couldn't even get into the hotel and couldn't even wait in the lobby.Although "hot springs" appears in the search results, only the indoor baths in the large communal baths are hot springs, and the open-air baths and private baths are just regular hot water. At dinner, I was told that they hadn't cooked much rice that day, so I was asked to limit myself to two bowls per person. It's scary to realize that the room is not built on the ground, but on a tall steel frame.

I stayed here for the purpose of taking a hot spring bath. It is located away from other inns and is recommended for those who want to spend a quiet time. The hot spring water was clear, odorless, and had a refreshing feel. The temperature of the water was just right and I took a long bath. The room was a Japanese style room, but it felt clean. From the window, you can enjoy the greenery of Okuchichibu's forest and the sound of the murmuring river. The toilets and washrooms are new, so you can spend your time without feeling stress at all. The food made use of local ingredients and was delicious. The salt-grilled sweetfish was especially delicious, with no bitterness from the innards, showing how fresh it was. The staff at the inn were very polite and kind, which left a good impression. This is an inn that I would like to stay at again.

I stayed here while on a pilgrimage to Chichibu Temple. From the time we arrived, the staff was very efficient in guiding us to our room, and the check-in went smoothly. It was the main building, but it had a nostalgic feel with a Showa era atmosphere. The food was rich in mountain produce and went well with hot sake and was very delicious. The boar hotpot and salt-grilled sweetfish are average, and may not be enough for young people who are picky.Relax in the hot open-air bath without worrying too much about the detailed cleaning inside the facility.I want to stay here again. 👍

Visited on a certain weekend in January 2024.The most important thing I can say is that all the employees were friendly, polite, and kind. In addition to the large public bath, there were two free private baths. In addition to newspapers, there were manga on the floor (such as Mitsuteru Yokoyama's Romance of the Three Kingdoms), and there were also information magazines about Chichibu, so I was able to gather information. There is also a table tennis table in the basement, so you can exercise in a way that only a ryokan can do.If there is one disappointing thing, it would be the food. Almost everything was served at once, so I had a hard time deciding which one to eat first (in fact, it could be said that there were so many items...). I also felt that there were few dishes that gave a sense of Chichibu's hometown. However, even with that in mind, it was a good inn that made me want to go again.

This is my second time staying here, and the hotel and rooms are spacious and relaxing. There are open-air baths, including private baths, where you can relax and take your time. Dinner and breakfast are served in your room, so you can eat slowly.I am very satisfied with both the quality and quality.I would be happy if the menu changed. I think I'll go again.

A calm, traditional hot spring innSince I stayed on a weekday, I was able to use the private bath freely and relax. It's a bit difficult to get to, but you don't have to worry because the host will pick you up by car.

Although it is a historical inn, it was kept very clean.I am very satisfied with each and every dish.In particular, the staff at all the inns that welcomed us were very polite and kind, which I expected.
