Noisy house with an unpleasant owner lady.Only one old shower for the entire guesthouse, which is also outside the house.Poor WI-FI which works only in the common area.Check-in only between 3pm-7pmOwner locks the house and does not give the keys, so If you are late you have to wait for her to open it.House is old and everything creaks.when trying to sleep you can hear literally everything that's going on in the neighboring rooms, or in the toilet.Someone, while cleaning, threw my factory-packaged sweets into the trash.Lady who owns the house is an unfriendly person, from the first message and during my stay the atmosphere was still not friendly. I had to wait until 3pm the next day to check-in because as the owner replied check-in only between 3pm-7pm. She said that her place is cheap so I have to follow her rules, so despite paying and texting about the problem in advance, I had nowhere to sleep and the cost of the first night was not compensated in any way.

I loved this accommodation, it’s a very well maintained and very cute house.She really is very well placed.5-10 minutes from the sea at maximum and there are many restaurants around which are very practical in the evening as well as a Family Market not far away.I couldn't say goodbye to her because she wasn't there, but I thank the lady who welcomed me! She was very warm and smiling!

I visited on a touring trip from Tokushima!It's so comfortable that you can't believe it's your first time here, and the owner and staff are so friendly!It was so awesome🌴There are special things you can't get at hotels or inns!I don't often write reviews, but it was really good so I had to write one!This trip was my best memory!Thank you so much ✌️

Used on a weekday in early June 2024Prices are very reasonableAs long as you follow the precautions, it will be comfortable.Check-in: 15:00 to 19:00. Closing is a little early.Check-out: until 10:00Amenities: face towel and earplugs onlyThe shower booth has shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and facial cleanser.There is a toilet and washroom on the second floor.There is a hair dryer in the bathroom, but no matter how hard I look, I can't find an outlet ⇒ I dried it in my room (no mirror)I quickly realized why there were earplugs. There was another group of two guests on the second floor, on the same floor as my room, but the entrance to the room was a sliding door, so there was no sound insulation or insulation, and they were about three rooms apart. You can hear every word of the conversation as if you were talking in the same room. This is painful. Since I was with my child, I was able to sleep quickly at night, which was helpful.The shower booth is about 0.5 tatami in size and placed outside, and the only thing left is a roof and a curtain, so it's completely outside, so it's cold and painful in the winter, and you'll be bitten by mosquitoes in the summer.Wifi is free, but even if you use the 2.4Ghz "G" frequency that can reach long distances, you can reach the first floor at maximum signal strength, but the signal is weak on the second floor and cannot be used.It connects for a moment, but cannot receive data and is disconnected within a minute.Both smartphones were in that state, so it's not an individual difference.I would like to replace it with a Wi-Fi main unit with stronger radio wave output, or install a Wi-Fi repeater on the second floor.The free space on the first floor has all the equipment you need to prepare your own meals if you bring your own ingredients.2 gas stoves, microwave, toaster, kettle, rice cooker, refrigerator, mineral water, etc. There were also many types of instant coffee, tea, and seasonings.There are also tableware, cutlery, and other supplies on the shelves on the wall.(However, there is nothing written on the shelves, so you will have to keep opening the door to find what is where.)It seems to be a self-service system where you can wash dishes etc. after using them.I had read in advance that there was a charge for parking, so I parked at the Shirahamayu Park Parking Lot, which is open 24 hours a day and is free except during the swimming season, and walked for about 5-10 minutes.There are ``Gourmet City Shirahama store (Aeon supermarket)'' and ``Gyomu Super Shirahama store'' within a 10-minute walk from which you can purchase ingredients. There are parking lots at both locations, so you can go there by car.There was only one self-service gas station nearby (Hamaguchi Oil Self-service Shirahama Miyukidori SS) and it was very cheap.I paid with cash because it was an extra 2 yen when I paid with a credit card.

Beautiful ryokan. The owner is incredibly nice and speaks good English. The rooms are beautiful and everything is new and very clean. We feel very comfortable and would recommend it at any time ❤️

Recommended for those who want to stay in a traditional Japanese house! Really nice place. A place I would recommend to my friends.I was surprised at how beautiful it was! Also, the owner is a really nice person and doesn't put pressure on the guests at all, so you can spend your time freely at the guesthouse.As others have said, I was able to take a shower using the hypothetical shower room, but it was small😢It might be difficult for larger men.You can also wash your swimsuits and there is a place to dry them. Since it's summer, it's a good idea to apply mosquito repellent when washing your swimsuit outside the front door! There are really too many mosquitoes😱

It's about a 10 minute walk from the beach.The rooms are shared, and the one I used was a 4-person room.On that day, I shared a room with a Korean person, and in the evening I had drinks with him and a person from Australia in the shared space of the restaurant.When I couldn't understand the conversation, he immediately translated it on his cell phone, and we had a really fun conversation.It was fun to talk to a foreigner for the first time in a while.The price is cheap at 1856 yen. You can also buy ingredients and cook. The staff are also kind.Equipped with shared shower. There are no keys to the rooms or entrances, so you can come and go as you please.There seems to be a limit to the number of parking spaces available, but we were able to park there.Everyone was creative and traveling cheaply.For dinner, I was given a map of nearby restaurants, so I went to a yakitori restaurant about a 3-minute walk away.The landlady was very talkative and we had a great time.She had an accent and I had to ask her what she was saying every time I needed an interpreter😁

I stayed for 2 nights and it was great.I ended up staying one more night.The older sister treated me kindly, the room was clean, and the shared kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, tableware, and seasonings, so I think it's perfect for people who want to cook.It's a counter, so it looks like a store could be opened there, and behind the kitchen is a living room with a TV, where you can eat as well.I stayed alone, but it was quite relaxing.There was a smoking area in the garden, but at night you could take a breather as you admired the lights.Just remembering it makes me want to stay there again.

You can stay there cheaply, but be careful about the people in your room.There is no lock for the shower room, so I was a little worried, but you can use the kitchen freely and the living room is spacious and relaxing.I woke up early in the morning and was able to go swimming at Shirarahama Beach, so I was satisfied. After buying breakfast at Family Mart and swimming at the beach, I returned to the guesthouse, took a shower, and checked out.To Saki no Yu.

I've been there in 2019 and 2022. It's still my favorite hostel in Japan and ice been to many different. It has a warm atmosphere and the owner is very kind and helpful 😊. It's always tidy and clean. The kitchen gives opportunity for more complex cooking and dining. The living room has a cozy couch, a Japanese table and TV. Some day the shower room and bunk beds need a renovation but they are fine right now. I'm looking forward to come back to this great place 😍

I don't usually write reviews, but I thought it was great so I'd like to write one.This was my second time staying there as a diver, and it was very clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced, so I was able to stay here again this time (3 nights and 4 days).The female owner was very friendly and welcomed us, and we had a very pleasant stay this time as well.Also, on the way back, it was raining quite heavily, so they took care of me and even arranged for me to be picked up and dropped off.Not only is the room clean, but the attention to detail is truly amazing.If you have no objection to a guest house and are planning to stay in Shirahama, I can wholeheartedly recommend it.I would also like to use it when staying alone in Shirahama.

Beds and kitchen are clean and very easy to use.The owner is often busy and may not be present at check-in, so it's best to let them know your arrival time in advance by phone.The shared kitchen has coffee and tea, which you can make and drink as you like. There are also some seasonings that I don't use.I really enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime interactions with my roommates and the owner, and it was a nice inn that I would like to come back to again. The price is also extremely low! I want to come again.
