We booked a Japanese style room here, which was nice and warm. The futon beds have thin mattresses but we didn't find this problematic. The bedcovers were warm - very important given the very cold weather in Wakkanai. …

I was a bit sceptical when I arrived in this hotel and I was positively surprised: nice and clean Japanese bedroom, warm and nice staff, and a very good Japanese breakfast. …

This was the cheapest place I found by taking a walk around, looking for a bed for the night. I found the place to be clean, quite modern, Japanese style rooms. The guy on the front desk was good, helpful and spoke decent English. …

All the hotels I stay are between 4000 and 5000 yens, and they all provide good value. This one has sea views and pleasant japanese style rooms. Also very quiet.||On the minus side, wifi doesn't work well, better free Wifi at the station.

Very nice reception staff, was happy to help me store my bike, and quick to let me back into my room when I locked myself out. Hotel has descent amenities and very affordable for a comfy room. They had the heater on in my room when I arrived as well. The reception staff spoke passable English, and helped me locate the nearest konbini/supermarket. Would stay there again.

I had my first experience staying in Japanese style room. Overall is okay but the wifi connection was so weak. I've got room with seaview.

A hotel located on the outskirts of Wakkanai. However, it is within walking distance. This time we were shown a Japanese-style room. With double windows and a fan heater, it feels like a typical Hokkaido inn. This time I was guided to a Japanese-style room. In terms of size, it's about the same as a Japanese-style room at a normal business hotel. The view is nice as you can see the sea. As for the water area, the shower head is sturdy and good. There seems to be a large public bath, but it doesn't seem to be a hot spring or anything, and it seems like only 2-3 people can fit in there, so I think this will be enough. Unfortunately, the toilet does not have a washlet. The thing that bothered me the most was the insects in the room. There were small bugs crawling on my pillow, some on the futon, and some flying near the electricity. When I tried to figure out why there were so many people there, I found that the window screen was torn. If this were the case, I could just keep the windows closed, but the air conditioner is installed in the window, so it feels like there's a slight gap, and I think this is a route for insects to get in. .Inns in Wakkanai are all expensive, and I was paying a not-so-cheap rate to stay here, so I wish they had fixed the screen door properly.
