I wanted to see how "shoboi" it was, so I went to stay for the night on a motorcycle tour from Tokyo.Hmm, it's definitely salty.Apparently, the building was inherited by the original owner who had decided to give it up due to old age and thought it would be a waste to destroy it.So, to put it bluntly, it's a bit of a mess, but you can also say it has some flavor. There's a roof, so I can sleep on a warm bed and have no complaints from the cold.I have a friendly cat and I like cats so it doesn't bother me.The young staff are also kind. Please note that there are no places to eat nearby, and nearby shops close in the evening. But I like it here.I pray that it will continue to prosper as a "shoboi".

This is a guest house full of freedom created by everyone. Many of the facilities are handmade and unfinished, but I think that's part of the flavor, and even more than that, the owner, Mr. Abe, and all the staff are so kind and the space is full of humanity, and it gives me a sense of compassion and a way to have fun that I had forgotten. It reminds me of.Basically, each person prepares their own meals, but you can also enjoy gourmet food made with ingredients from around Horonobe!I stayed there during the year-end and New Year holidays, and we all enjoyed the ``Shin!! ︎ Eating Toshikoshi soba and receiving New Year's food at ``Otoijifu Soba'' made us feel like we were siblings, and it was a very valuable experience. Also, since there are many railway fans and people who are familiar with the Tokanbetsu/Nukanan area, we will refrain from making explicit statements, but you may have a chance to hear unexpected stories and secrets related to the Soya Main Line.I just want to meet people and talk to them, and I love railways and geography! This is a guest house that travelers should definitely stay at!The signboard cats, Ponta and Shijimi, are soothing... Ponta in particular is incredibly soothing...

Stayed for one night each in January and February. It felt more like staying at a friend's parents' house than a guest house, and it was very comfortable. The staff, mostly in their 20s, will tell you various stories about Hokkaido.Seeing the cat Ponta walking around is so relaxing~

It seems to be in a great location for train fans, but it's also in a great location for me as a rider. It is suitable for enjoying a round trip between Otonrui Wind Farm and Wakkanai, which is the climax of the Ororon Line. In addition, there are many attractions around this inn, including Sarobetsu, which is said to be the second richest hot spring in the world to contain oil, as well as a refreshing road and reindeer farm.In addition, the inn itself is full of handmade features and tricks, making it a unique and enjoyable place to stay. We also have two cats, especially Ponta, who is used to people and is very welcoming. As of June 2024, there are two staff members, both of whom are very young and are enjoying life in this area, and will treat you according to your sense of distance. The true charm of this inn probably lies in their personalities. It is true that the building is old and has some inconveniences, but if you are even slightly interested in the title of the inn, ``No. 1 in Japan,'' we highly recommend you try it out. Even though it was my first experience at a guesthouse, I was able to enjoy it.We would like to thank both staff members for providing us with unforgettable memories. I really enjoyed it from the bottom of my heart.

While there are many unusual elements, such as the name, location, and the fact that it is run by very young owners from the metropolitan area,I think this is an inn that will be loved by people from all walks of life, including people who love trains, people who love unexplored areas (?), people who love cats, and people who love music.Accommodation is in a dormitory type, and on cold days there is a stove. You can cook as you like, and you can use the nearby Qmart until the evening, so you don't have to worry about it.It might be a little difficult for people who are very particular about details, but once you visit, you'll definitely want to support them.It seems that it was moved midway through, and the photos uploaded areBe careful as it is a mix of old and new!
