You can apply by calling the phone number on the website and faxing the application form, but reservations are almost always unavailable on weekends, regardless of the season. There was only a simple toilet, and when I went there it was extremely dirty. 100 points for a style that enjoys a full-fledged camping experience, and 0 points for families, women, and those who want to look good, so it seems like the environment is quite selective for users.

Reservations are required, but it's free and I think it's a good way to experience the camping experience.Due to the facilities, women and children are not allowed. Please be respectful when using the facility, such as not lighting an open fire!

Late at night after the rain, I was inside my tent when I heard footsteps approaching from the forest. And right next to the tent...How much time has passed?Footsteps pass through the other side of the tent and then move away.I made up my mind, got out of the tent, turned on the light, and there!...There was a frog.I've used this place several times and have heard rumors of spirits, but at least there are frogs after the rain.

Reservations required (Temporary reservations can be made by calling the city hall from the website. Print out the reservation form, fill it out, and fax it. This is the official reservation. For details, please visit the city website)There is a simple iron gate at the entrance to keep out animals. Once inside, reach through the gap and close it.The path inside is not paved and is uneven with stones. You can ride a bike, but be careful not to fall. It seems that cars are also allowed. There were rumors that the toilet was dirty, but it was just a normal portable toilet. I thought it wasn't as dirty as it sounds. Maybe the time was right. (early April)I didn't see any trash, but there was probably scrap wood left behind to use as firewood. I took the opportunity to use it as firewood. (I did not use plywood as firewood because the adhesive is poisonous when burned.)The site is spreading out on what is called an ant's nest. Each site is separate and far apart, giving it a strong sense of privacy. On the other hand, it can be scary if something happens. The rumored ghosts did not appear, nor did it seem like they were going to appear. It was very dark as there were no lights at night, but I guess that's what most campgrounds are like.Open fires are prohibited. However, old information includes photos of open fires. At least as of 2024, the website states that open fires are prohibited, so make sure to find ways to avoid burning the ground directly, such as using a bonfire stand. The grass was fairly dry, so it may have been damaged by the heat. There was some charcoal lying on the site I had chosen, but no trash. I picked up as much charcoal as I could. Charcoal is a stable substance and does not decompose easily. The extinguished charcoal from a bonfire will not completely carbonize it, so it will decompose, but it will still take a long time. I understand that it can be dangerous to just sprinkle water on the tent because it won't lower the temperature enough, but if you put a metal container outside the tent and put the lid on it, the fire will be out by the next morning. Take it home and throw it away in the combustible garbage. Once it burns down and turns into ash, it returns to the earth.Good location. It's convenient because you can go to the supermarket in 20 minutes. If you can arrive in the afternoon, you will have time to set up your tent and then go shopping for ingredients.A thorny plant was growing on the bush. It looked like it was going to sting my hand. I was worried that there would be a hole in the tarp.

A cursed campsite. I used it for the first time in a while during the New Year holidays. As soon as I entered the gate, the atmosphere was as creepy as ever. I didn't feel any fear when there were a lot of people, but when it was empty I was definitely scared. While it had the benefit of allowing me to enjoy a sense of privacy and camping, I mentally endured the gloomy and foreign atmosphere that permeated the whole area.

This is a campground managed by Nishiwaki City. There is no charge, but reservations must be made by phone and fax to a city official.Lately, I've been seeing a lot of evidence of open fires, but this is a campground where open fires are prohibited! ️Let's have fun with a bonfire sheet & bonfire stand. The other day, I brought home the remains of charcoal that someone had left behind😔I'm not sure why people think it's OK to burn it open just because it's free. There is a risk of a forest fire even though the surrounding area is densely wooded, so I would like them to act like camping professionals. There are toilets, but they are of the pump type, so if you don't like them, you can bring a portable toilet with you. Let's quit going to the wild because the toilet is far away!! ️

I give it my all, but I would give it 5 stars if the toilet was a little cleaner.

Although it is a campsite that has just been carved out of a natural forest, it is a good campsite with privacy, but there are no facilities.
