When we think of old folk houses, we often have the impression that they use the same old fittings and equipment as they are, and are a little inconvenient in modern times. However, at Murekihi, this is not the case at all, and it embodies the comfortable living of old folk houses in modern times. I felt that I was being treated. It was a wonderful accommodation facility that was worth seeing as a repurposed building. The owner was also very kind and I was able to spend a relaxing holiday both physically and mentally. Next time, I would definitely like to stay for several nights...! Thank you very much for your help.

It was my first time staying in a house with a wood-burning stove, so I really enjoyed keeping the stove going. It is said to be a house built in the 2nd year of the Meiji era, and the Japanese-style room is said to be the same as it was back then. There were very fine beams, and the work such as transoms was detailed and wonderful. The furniture and furnishings are decorated with very nice antique-like items, creating a great atmosphere. There were so many CDs of jazz and movie music, and listening to them while watching the fire in the wood stove was really relaxing. The owner couple were also very kind people. At night, we could see many very faint stars that are hard to see in the city, so it was great. Everything about it was a wonderful stay.

It was a refreshing place where I could hear the noisy cicadas in the city. It is said that it was an old private house that was relocated, but it is built with great attention to detail.

Wood stove, sauna, hearth? It was fully equipped with facilities such as chandeliers, massage chairs, micro bubble baths, etc., and was soothing. In addition, the owner and his wife were kind and kind, and we received Japanese sweets, sweet potatoes, and mochi. After checking out, we had cheesecake and coffee at a nearby cafe, and we had a great time chatting and chatting. ! When we went there, it was snowing a lot when we woke up in the morning, but they helped us clear the snow from where we walked and from my car! I was able to relax and feel safe, like I was back at home! Thank you very much 😊

THE It feels like a local, but there is a large parking lot and fresh vegetables and side dishes are sold there. There is also a restaurant attached, so you can enjoy lunch as well.

A private old folk house inn in Nasu Highlands. It seems that it was relocated and the interior is very beautiful. There is also a wood stove, massage chair, and sauna, so there is plenty of equipment, so if you bring food and drinks, you can spend a few days without going out. The location is good, and there is a large supermarket within walking distance, which is very convenient. The owner was kind and I was able to enjoy a comfortable Nasu Kogen vacation. When I used it, the cafe next door wasn't open yet, but I'd like to try there next time I go.
