If you (foreigners) don’t want to be discriminated then please stay away from staying here. We had a horrible experience staying here. We arrived on a rainy day. The place was located up on a steep slope, we had to drag our luggages all the way up the premise from the car park. The lady owner was very particularly about how we handled our luggages inside the property, meaning we have to carry our luggages up to our rooms on the second floors and we mustn’t stand our luggages( I guess she didn’t want us dirty her tatami flooring), later we felt discriminated the way she explained things to us but somehow we got over it. There’s no toilets in each room, so we had to use a common toilet outside our rooms. Also, there’s no bathroom in each room. You need to walk down to the slope again to take a bath at the public bathroom (It’s an Onsen, though). We had dinner & breakfast in our room but we have to serve ourselves once she bought the food on a tray. And cleared the table once we were done. Put the plates back to the tray and left them out of the rooms. We paid ¥11000 per person per night yet we needed to do everything by ourselves. Over the phone before the trip, I called up the owner twice to request on substituting one of the dish that I can’t eat due to religious reasons but I was declined rudely. To my surprise she changed her mind on the very day and served me a substitute with an annoyed attitude towards me. During breakfast, we filled our canteens with “free coffee” so that we didn’t have to go back and forth to get it on the 1st floor, but the owner was not happy with the idea and wanted to charge us for ¥2,000 for the free coffee!!!! I had no choice but to pour it into a few coffee cups. Maybe she thought we were going to steal her free coffee or what. For god’s sake, it’s just some free coffee!!!I have been living in this country for years, travelled many parts of it and stayed in so many hotels, ryokans and Minsuku”(Japanese inns) but never had I stayed in such kind of lousy service minsuku.So, please think twice before booking here.

The female guesthouse owner has a bad feeling. The bath is shared with the surrounding guesthouses. I also had to wear geta and walk up and down the slope to go to the bathroom. I can't sleep because I can hear people talking in the next room. Food was good.

It's a comfortable and quiet guesthouse.The food was delicious and served well.I was full. 🙏

The food is good, but the portions are too much for elderly people. It's very satisfying.

■Location★★★・Rich in nature・The Sesshoseki was broken.・There is no place to play・No convenience store■Facilities★★★・Bed and breakfast a little uphill・The slope is quite steep・Vintage items・2nd floor 5-6 rooms, about 8 tatami mats, not that big・Toilets and kitchen (refrigerator) are shared.・You can raise and lower the futon yourself.・No bath (hot spring)■Meals　★★★・The amount is about normal (normal weight for people in their 40s)・Taste is average・Room meals・It is better to buy drinks in advance at a convenience store or liquor store.The price is on the cheaper side compared to nearby hotels and guesthouses.I wonder if the landlady is running it all by herself, it seems to be difficult.I had a relaxing time**The hot springs are shared by the association and can be used with a key.There are two bathtubs, one hot and one hot, but no one has used them for a while.The heat is really hot. I can't even enterWarmness becomes hotterThe scent of sulfur makes you feel like you're in a hot spring.

An inn located on top of a mountain in the Takinoyu hot spring town.You have to go up and down a hill to get to ♨️, but the room was in a good location.In the morning, they make roasted coffee. Today's style is to choose your favorite cup and drink it yourself in Gatimala.Bath towels and yukatas are provided, but it is better to bring your own towels.Breakfast was also delicious ♫The snow refrigerator was nice, but I'd like to use it in other seasons as well.

For me, the dinner I had high expectations based on word of mouth was disappointing.For some reason, there's crumbly tofu on the eggplant shigiyaki.The unnecessary water in the tofu comes out and takes away the goodness of the eggplant. You should keep it simple with just eggplant.Kenchin soup that is not freshly made and overcooked.Dobin steamed seafood with a strong fishy smell. If the ingredients are of that quality, it's better to avoid cooking in clay pots, which requires a high level of skill.It was the saltiest grilled fish I've ever eaten, and the internal organs were not processed. I couldn't eat as much as I took out what I put in my mouth.Breakfast was delicious.Also, the downy-smelling bath towels are the worst. Towels at accommodation facilities must be odorless.It's a clean inn, and I think the landlady is very pleasant,I know the taste and prices of Shin-Komatsuya and Fujitaya, so I think I'll definitely go back there.

I was satisfied with both the bath and the meal. The wife was also very kind. I want to go again!

The food is delicious, and the baths just a short walk away are pleasant. This bath is only used by residents and nearby guests, and the residents are kind. The landlady and the host were kind, and the morning coffee was delicious.From the parking lot, it's a bit of a climb up the slope.Locust tsukudani was served for the meal. I don't like the look of it so much that it gives me goosebumps, so I wonder if there's something I can do about it, like asking if it's okay before putting it out.When I stayed through a reservation site, the landlady said, ``If you'd like, please leave a review.'' I happily wrote a review on the reservation site, but I thought it would be nice if the landlady responded to the review, even if it was just a greeting. Ta.However, if I were to stay at a guesthouse in Nasu Yumoto, I would definitely stay here next time.
