This is a guesthouse that I use several times every year. The hostess's friendliness and attentiveness are great. Also, the food is very delicious. The flavor makes the best use of the ingredients, giving the impression that it's neither too strong nor too light. Also, the Taki no Yu at the nearby public bathhouse is wonderful. The atmosphere is outstanding, and the quality of the spring water is of course the source of Shika-no-yu. It's not too crowded and it's nice to be able to take your time. I also look forward to the opportunity to talk with the locals. It's an inn that makes me feel like I've come home, and I'll be visiting again soon! And the last day of August 2024. The landlady was the last one, and I was allowed to stay the night. Thank you very much for the hostess's personality and pleasant memories from her home cooking.

It was great to be able to stay alone and go to the hot springs.Although the system does not allow for travel assistance, I was satisfied enough even without it.

This is a guest house in Nasu Yumoto Onsen. It is located near Shika-no-Yu, and although there is no hot spring at the inn, there is a public bathhouse, Takino-Yu, right nearby, and you can take a bath after receiving the key. It comes from the same source as Shika-no-yu, which is a free-flowing source. There is also a public bath called Kawara no Yu, which can also be accessed with the same key.The hostess of the inn was bright, energetic, and friendly. The room was also very clean and I was satisfied. The food, cooked by the landlady, was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately, I ate too much for lunch and had some left over for dinner...The breakfast was satisfying, and the coffee after the meal was delicious! It's a good idea to visit the public bath as many times as you like. The hot water had high sterilizing and cleaning power. This morning I was lucky to see a large pale shooting star in the western sky from my room window. This is an inn I would like to stay at again. In addition, unlike inns where you can only make a reservation for two people, this inn welcomes only one person, so it is recommended for those who are traveling quietly and alone.Express buses leave from Busta Shinjuku to Nasu Yumoto Onsen bus stop every day.

It's in a place that's hard to find on a small path. The food was delicious and the hostess' customer service was very homely.Taki no Yu is also nearby, so I didn't feel dissatisfied even though there was no bath in the hotel. The downside was that I couldn't open the windows because stink bugs would come in and it was hot. However, the walls were thicker and quieter than a normal guesthouse, which was nice.

Near Shika-no-Yu in Nasu Yumoto, there are some traditional guesthouses without indoor baths. This is one of them, and is located on a hill up the stone steps next to the public bath Taki no Yu. …

I'm very satisfied with the customer service, food, and price 👍 There's no bath in the building, so I use the nearby public bath ♨️ Kagake Sulfur Spring, of course, you can bathe as much as you like ✨

Located at the top of the path next to Takinoyu, this is an inn where you can spend a relaxing time while listening to the quiet sound of the river. The room is very clean. The morning coffee was so delicious that I had two cups before I left. The food was delicious and filling, and the hostess's personality was pleasant and left a lasting impression on me.

I stayed for 1 night and 2 days from August 15th (Monday) 😊The prefectural discount was ¥10,900 for a couple.I received a regional coupon of 2000 yen per person, so I was able to stay for 6900 yen🎵The room was 8 tatami mats, had no air conditioner, and had a shared toilet. It's very cool at night if you open the windows, and it's cold without a futon, so there's no problem even without an air conditioner.Personally, I thought it was a bit weird not to have a toilet in the room, but the shared toilets were separated by gender, so it wasn't as much of a problem as I thought. Our room didn't have a view, but it seems like it depends on the reservation order 😁I think some people might want a little more volume for dinner and breakfast 🍴, but you can tell from the food that the hostess has worked hard to prepare it, and for me, I can eat it with peace of mind in a good way. It was a delicious dish that could be done😊Tanakaya doesn't have a hot spring, so we use the hot spring facilities ♨️ called "Taki no Yu" and "Kawara no Yu" that are within walking distance, both of which are excellent sulfur springs. It feels like a cloudy-white Moro hot spring, and unlike the nearby Shika-no-Yu, most of its customers are guests staying in the Minshuku district, so even though it was the Obon season, it wasn't crowded with people.

Even though I made a last-minute reservation, I was warmly welcomed. Thanks to the owner's detailed explanations and thoughtful consideration, I was able to experience the warmth of people.Even on the way to the nearby hot springs, I was greeted with "Good evening" and "It's getting cold", which made me want to stay here again when I travel to Nasu Yumoto again. We had a great time. I hope the owner continues to be in good health.
