It's quite old, but the room is spacious. The window was large so it was well ventilated and the weather was cool and nice. There is free coffee in the morning and the owner is really friendly. It's not new, but there's something old-fashioned about it.

You can walk to Motomachi Park, Christ Orthodox Church, Catholic Motomachi Church, Old Hakodate Ward Public Hall, former British Consulate, Funatama Shrine, ropeway station, Carl Raymond Historical Memorial Museum, and Kanamori Warehouse. There is also Angelique Voyage diagonally in front. There is also a bus stop right in front. The main building is a 3-story building and there is no elevator, so you will have to take the stairs, but you will be able to carry your luggage when you check in. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor of the main building, a black silica bathhouse on the 3rd floor (there are 5 washing areas, and the changing room is small), alkaline ionized water on the 2nd floor, and a machine with free tea near the front desk. You can't drink coffee, but you can get it for free at the restaurant in the morning. On the left is a room that has been converted from a warehouse, and on the right is an annex that looks like an annex. We had a separate room. It's like a house, so you take off your shoes and leave them on a tray in your room. The room is spacious with 4 beds and a small table and chairs. Unfortunately, the unit bath was very small. The toilet, sink, and bathtub are located in a small space. The only amenities in your room are loungewear, disposable slippers, cloth disinfectant and deodorant, toothbrush, razor, body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. There are no hairbrushes or combs in the room or in the public bath. There is body soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the public bath, but there is only one tissue and hair dryer in the changing room. Another disappointing thing was that the hanger was at an angle. The people at the front desk are very energetic and kind. You don't have to wear slippers in the room, so it's a bit like a private lodging. The price was around 9,000 yen for a room without meals, which was cheaper than in front of the station, but I thought it was a little expensive considering the hotel facilities, but it was clean and comfortable.I think it would be good for a long stay if it included breakfast.Souvenirs are also sold on the first floor of the main building. There was only room for a few cars in front of the hotel, so we parked a little further away. Parking is free.

I didn't have a reservation, but there happened to be one room available, so I stayed for one night. Of course I only stayed overnight, but the people were very kind. But, is it an open-air bath? There were 3 ladies with bad manners and they were talking all the time and it was very noisy. It was the worst thing ever because they would splash the shower on people and they would talk all the time in the bathtub. It was so noisy that I finished the shower and came out. I wanted to take a bath and see it too😢⤵️⤵️If I stayed on the stairs all the time, I wouldn't be able to take a bath😢⤵️⤵️I want you to follow proper manners.

Good location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bath on the 3rd floor is also good. I was able to use the breakfast coupon at the morning market, and it felt like I was able to eat seafood bowl in the morning. Also, the customer service of the hotel staff is good. I would like to use it again.

For dinner, we made a reservation for ourselves at a restaurant in Hakodate city. For breakfast, I booked a plan that included a ticket to eat at the morning market. The large public bath was warm, but the shower in the guest room did not have stable water temperature and sometimes ended up with cold water. If it weren't for that, I'd give it a 4 star. The small and simple room is good for overnight stays.

My son and his wife stayed here.I noticed that he looked calm. I would like to stay in the renovated warehouse next door during the summer.
