First of all, the location of Iidabashi is convenient for transportation, but you have to transfer to get there. I came to Japan from Narita Airport and took the Keisei Skyliner to Keisei Ueno Station. After arriving, I had to walk for 10 minutes to Ueno Okachimachi Station and transfer to the Oedo Line to reach Iidabashi. The hotel is convenient. I personally feel very satisfied with it because the new rooms are well soundproofed and the rooms are large enough to accommodate 28-inch luggage. The facilities are all basic hotel facilities. The only drawback is that the bathroom space is very small. Especially when I rush, my hands often hit the wall and I need to stand sideways. The service is good, some staff can communicate in English, and some personal items such as toothbrushes, combs and shavers are available for self-pickup on the first floor. There is a coffee machine on the first floor that makes coffee for free.Overall, although the hotel is a 3-star hotel, there are no major problems with basic accommodation. The prices are relatively average. The hotel is located in Shinjuku area. If the hotel is close to JR Shinjuku Station, it is HKD$200-300 more expensive per night than this hotel. However, the transportation is not as convenient and direct as Shinjuku. You need to transfer to Iidabashi, but it is about HKD$550. -650 per night is not a big request.

Very well received firstly by the staff who are always very friendly whatever happens. The room is clean, everything you need is there, air conditioning, fridge, washing products, etc. I had seen comments complaining about the size of the room but we had two large suitcases and we had no problem, we were able to leave them open the entire stay. The free coffee (or tea) at all times is really appreciated. And the location is just great, 5 minutes from a large train station which really serves quite a few neighborhoods quickly. The value for money is incredible.Small downside for the noise we were on the street side and the blackout curtain does not completely hide the light

The place and room was fantastic. A staff with the name of "Ay CHIRAPHAK" provided an excellent customer service. She spoke good English which enable customer to ask questions who cannot speak Japanese language. Ay is brilliant, very helpful and made initiative to assist hotel customers. I would highly recommend this hotel in Tokyo. I would like to commend "Ay" for her continuous kindness in assisting hotel guest.

Arrived soaking wet 45mins before check in. Girls behind counter didn't look to impressed I was wet. Told me to wait till 3pm to check me in. I've stayed at other Hop inn's in Thailand and any other time I turned up within a hour the let me check in early with no extra charge. It's a shame that this doesn't happen in Japan especially when you can see the guest needs to change clothes and dry off.Room was good but bathroom was so small ,but the bonus was a shower with decent water pressure.
