After learning about the existence of Shika-no-Yu a few years ago, I researched it and eventually found Kobayashikan. The hot springs at Shika-no-Yu are soft sulfur springs that have been removed from Kusatsu's prickly sulfur, and you can see hot water flowers dancing around them.Kobayashikan is a warm, family-run inn. I have stayed for two nights in a row many times during my travels, but this may be the first time I have stayed for the second time in two years. When you meet your spouse or family again, you will feel like you have returned to your second home. There are no baths at the inn, but there is a communal bath for men and women right in front of you, Takinoyu from 5am to 11pm (cleaning is done from 10am to 11am, and there is a curfew after 10pm), and a riverside bath a little further away. You can put in as many as you like (at the same time). Basically, it is only open to people staying at nearby hotels and related parties, so unlike Shika-no-Yu, it is not crowded and you can enjoy a relaxing therapeutic bath without attracting attention. We recommend staying in the Nasu Yumoto area, as the Nasu Ropeway, drop-in hot springs to Daimaru Onsen and Kita Onsen, and other tourist facilities are all easily accessible by bus. Since it's a guest house, the only toilets and refrigerators are shared, and the rooms are well-cleaned, but the downside is that you don't have a key. If I had to be greedy, I would like a key or valuables locker in one place in the lobby. It's about a 5-minute walk from Nasu Yumoto bus stop, and it's an irresistible and wonderful inn with check-in at 2:00 pm and great value for money for hot spring lovers who value the quality of the spring water. This is the perfect inn for climbing Mt. Chausu and Mt. Asahidake, or returning from a stopover at Santogoya Onsen.[Basic price: 6,800 yen including two meals in the room, an unprecedented value these days! ]Last time I stayed, I was able to sample bee roe, but it seemed too late in late September. We also served venison for dinner, which was another blessing of nature. However, the breakfast and dinner this time were really delicious. By the way, the breakfast comes with natto, but considering the cost of lodging, it's an impossible luxury. Dinner is served early, around 6pm, but it's delicious, so I always order a second helping. Breakfast starts around 7:30am. Renting a yukata costs 200 yen, but we definitely recommend it if you plan to visit the hot springs many times.Towels cost 170 yen, but they can be commemorated with a name engraved. One of the reasons for staying here is to see a beautiful starry sky, but if you go to Kyuubi Stone, Nasu Shrine, or even the visitor center, you might be able to see it in the dark. Unfortunately, I drank too much and the sky was cloudy, so I couldn't confirm. There are three fairly large cats at the inn. He seems to be very friendly and cute. I wanted to lift it up and weigh it, but I was reluctant to do so. This is an irresistible inn for cat lovers. The husband has endless stories about bees, bears, and more. I would be surprised if I heard about the capture of the giant wasp.We recommend a glass of bee sake or fruit wine (herbal wine?) for 300 yen, but drinks are also reasonably priced at 600 yen for a large bottle of beer, and 100 yen for milk or juice. Apparently, someone else's article also mentioned deep-fried bees... I couldn't eat it this time either. Next time I go, I want to try it, regardless of whether it's delicious or not. If I have a chance to visit again, I will request and make a reservation. However, when it's extremely hot, hot springs give the impression of being hot, but there must be a lot of bees, and although I want to eat, I don't like hot water, which is a frustrating experience. Autumn leaves, early spring azalea climbing, nature walks, and long hot spring baths in winter are must-sees.I don't really want to write it! But I want it to be passed down from generation to generation! Therefore, if you want to make a reservation for accommodation, please contact the hotel directly by phone, where there is no intermediate margin! I am writing this from that desire.Shika-no-Yu's drop-in bath is famous, but the lockers are mini-sized, so you don't have to worry about people watching you and feel less rushed. Beautiful and glamorous hotels are nice, but it's also nice to relax in a guesthouse with the best quality spring water. The hot springs shown in the video are all directly sourced hot springs. I throw it away so much it's a waste. The reason why hot springs, not just sulfur springs, change color is that they become cloudy when exposed to light from the air or sunlight. Fresh hot springs are said to be colorless and transparent. This is what I learned from a blog article about hot spring lovers. Also, if you ask the people at the hostel, they will tell you where to find natural mountain water and underground water.Thank you very much for your valuable conversation this time! In a few years? Thank you for visiting us again.
