This is a campsite located at an altitude of 1300m. You can enjoy a cool highland camp even in midsummer.Climb 13km up a narrow mountain road. Runners are training at high altitudes, so please be careful when driving. The location is very good, but check-in is late at 13:00. During that time, the parking lot is occupied by climbers. Early check-in is possible from 8:00, but climbers have been parking their cars since early morning, and the next morning you will wake up to the sound of their cars. The administration building has a dedicated parking lot for the reception. If there is no vacant parking lot, please park there and ask when you check in and they will prepare another spot for you. There is a shower that can be used until 19:00 and a toilet that can be used 24 hours a day. Various rentals and empty-handed camping are also available. We also sell some drinks. The campsite has a vast free site and an auto site. Some auto sites also have AC.Free sites have few flat areas. Even if you go early, you may not be able to get a good spot. You can borrow a trolley to transport your luggage, but it is quite difficult to transport it to the inner site. On the other hand, there are fewer people, so you can spend a quiet time. There are quite a few kitchens, but apart from the administration building, there is only one toilet at the free site and one at the auto site. There are Western-style private rooms, but during the summer vacation there are many families with children, so they are over capacity and dirty. There is also a garbage station where you can sort and throw away your garbage. There are streetlights on the sidewalks, but I think it would be better to have headlights at night. There are few mosquitoes and horseflies, but there are many ants and spiders. If you don't clean your tent before you bring it inside, you'll end up taking bugs with you along with your happy memories. This time, one free site cost 1,500 yen, and the donation was 600 yen per person. There are a lot of solo campers, but I think it's more of a family-oriented campsite. Therefore, the number of campers is not very high. This time too, there were people setting up their tent right next to my tent, and the cigarette smoke was coming over, which was really bad. In the kitchen, some people were throwing charcoal down the sink, and the drain was clogged. There are many beginner campers, but there were no paripis making loud noises, probably because it is difficult to access because it is deep in the mountains.
