Here for the first time in a year. The overall review is that the rooms, service, and location are all things that you need to worry about since it's a campsite. 5 stars because it's a good location.

Cars are not allowed at the free site, so you will need to carry your luggage in a cart. It is quite difficult to go to the back because there is a considerable difference in elevation. However, the number of campers decreases due to the distance from the administration building, so it is worth the effort for those looking for a quiet environment.

A spacious and well-equipped campsite. We used it as a mountain climbing base, but I think it's also perfect for renting and casually enjoying camping.

The location was great, but there were some issues.Someone posted it before, but the reception process is taking too long. I don't know if it's something wrong with my PC system, but maybe it'll be a little faster? This time I used a section site, but there are too many depressions within the site. I can put up with it to some extent, but the hole on the inside of the curb at site 83 is the worst, and I can only think of it as a pitfall. If the situation does not recover quickly, an accident will occur unless you put colored cones or call attention to the situation. By the way, when I entered the previous site 82, my car's tire got stuck there and the fender was damaged.

In late August, we camped for one night at a free site at Sasagamine Campground. It was hot at the foot of the mountain, reaching around 37 degrees Celsius, but at Sasagamine it was below 30 degrees Celsius, and at night it was a little below 20 degrees Celsius, making it cool and comfortable. I could see the stars clearly, so there's nothing more to say.

*On maps on Android phones and PC Chrome browsers, the name is "Sasagamine Campsite." If you have the skills, please feel free to correct it.It's the perfect place to get away from the heat. Although it is rare, there are animals that can cause harm to people (I have not seen bears, but there are monkeys and bears), so be careful when walking around.

Visited on 2023.8.11 Mountain Day. You can pitch your tent in the free space without any reservations. The greenery was beautiful and we had a nice BBQ, but the insects were strong, so it's better to use insect repellent spray. I had blisters in 3 places that I went to the dermatologist. There was also a sign telling people to boil the water before drinking it, even though it had been disinfected. Please be careful if you have a loose stomach.
