We stayed in this lovely pension for 2 nights. Our room is a Japanese style one with toilet and wash basin, there are 2 shared bathroom for 3 rooms only so sharing is not a problem. The dining room is so spacious with a very warm fireplace. The owner couple took very good care of us, they made us feel like home! They prepared super high quality, big potion and delicious food for us. Their 2 dogs are so lovely and welcome us all the time. We definitely want to stay there again!

We are blessed to be able to stay in this Lodge with deluxe furniture and fittings. We were enthusiastically welcomed by the two dogs - Momo and Hina, upon our arrival. At a very reasonable price, the room is spacious with en-suite toilet. The Onsen is very clean, enjoyable and relaxing. Meals are super delicious with traditional Japanese food and home grown rice. We need to “double our stomach capacity” to finish all the food. Host are very friendly and treated us with Saki and Brandy (expensive ones)!

Thank you for your help during ski season every year. Our two dogs always warmly welcome us. Apparently animals are allowed to stay overnight. It was a weekday stay, so we were the only ones there, which was a bit disappointing. The owners are very friendly and always have fun talking about various things. This pension has a fireplace in the dining room and the owner's attention to detail throughout.Best of all, the food is plentiful. There are so many salads, hot pot dishes, yakiniku, gratin, sashimi, etc. that it can be difficult to even get to the rice.If you are a small eater, you may not be able to finish it. The rice is Koshihikari rice grown by the owner. This is Shinnosuke. It's very delicious. I think I'm going to gain weight because I eat too muchEven though I was thinking about it, I didn't leave anything behind. The room was a tatami room, but it had a kotatsu, a washroom, and a toilet, and was very clean and warm.During the snowy season, the road to the pension is a continuous slope, making it difficult to climb up the slope unless you have a 4WD vehicle. There are slip accidents, so be careful. It's convenient and close to the ski resort.

The owners were sweet! The wifes meals were fantastic, maybe a bit too much food but better than not enough. Warm comfy living room, rooms are not so spacious but our loft room was big enough for a family of three. …

The owner was very talkative and it was a homely stay. Even though it was Obon, the accommodation fee was cheap. The breakfast was just the right amount, but the dinner was a lot but very tasty. …

The pension was comfortable. The owner and the food are good. If a snowplow doesn't pass, you'll have to turn into a side road and go downhill, making it a little difficult to get there with a regular car. …
