Wonderful food . Hot Onsen downstairs, traditional rooms that were very clean, comfortable and cosy but also roomy. So welcoming and helpful. It feels like my Japanese home! Will come again.

I visited with my family last fall. The hot spring water is the best. Many of the meals were homemade and were delicious and excellent.I was also happy with the kindness of the landlady and her husband.I've invited friends many times since spring, and I'm sure they'll come again in the future.

I wanted to see if I could make a reservation over the phone. After about 3 calls, I was suddenly cut off without saying anything...What do you think about the accommodations that are going to cut it today?

My family and I used it in the summer. We will evaluate it fairly.〇Good points・The food and air are delicious. The amount of rice is too much.It is better to tell them in advance that the amount will be less.・The owner and his wife are kind and polite.・The surrounding environment is wonderful, especially the hot springs, mountains, and ski resorts.✖Hmmm・Sorry about the handmade soba. It's not tasty. The stiffness and throat feel are the worst. Tsuyu is also disappointed.・There is no air conditioner. In summer, the temperature will be around 29 degrees. It's hard to be hot at night. When you sleep with the window openThe insects are noisy and many gather around the screen door.・The hot spring is too hot. You can't add it unless you let it cool down.Even though the hot water is drawn from Mt. Myoko, the temperature is low in summer.I wonder if it won't go down.・The hot spring town is lonely. It's not as popular in summer. It can't be helped because we're in the midst of coronavirus. For these reasons, I think it's best to visit Akakura in autumn or midwinter. It is difficult to use it as a escape from the heat.

If you are looking for a traditional japanese guesthouse experience highly recommend Ginmeiso. The cute older owners are super accommodating although don’t speak any English we had lots of giggles. The building is very 70s charming. …
