The facilities are old, but it's not a so-called luxury hotel, so considering the price, it's not a problem.I thought the room was spacious, but for some reason the bath and toilet in the room were small. It seems that you can take a hot spring bath in the large public bath, so if you don't have any objections, I don't think it will be a problem. Please note that there is a separate parking fee of 700 yen.

It is located about 500 meters from the beach (Karato Market). There is a park in front of the hotel and the surrounding area is quiet, so it was a comfortable place to rest. The parking lot is in front of the hotel entrance, but I felt like I had to talk to the front desk after parking. When you check in, you will be asked if you want to park. They give you a card key for the large bathroom locker, so you can go out the door at the end of the hallway and go to the next building. You have to take your towels out of the bathroom. It was small but clean and there was a gym as well. The staff was very friendly. After checking in, they followed me to the front of the room and told me the location of the room, the location of the service room (vending machine, coin laundry machine, microwave, ice maker, and coin exchange machine), and the door to the main bath. The hallways and rooms were old and had a worn-out feel, but the cleanliness was very good.As of a weekday in August 2024, a single room costs 7,600 yen including breakfast, and the room is approximately 5 pyeong, but it is neither too narrow nor too large to rest alone. When I opened the door, there was a view of the tree, which was also nice. However, because it was an apartment on the upper floor, there were times when the smell of cigarettes slowly entered the hallway and room.Breakfast was served, and there was a Hotomoto about 200 meters away that was open until 11 p.m., so it seemed like a good place to get a late-night snack.

The room is nice and spacious, but I wish they could at least set the temperature of the fridge. The fridge is so small that I can't fit drinks into it and it doesn't get cold. And worst of all, the kettle is like this these days. I'm a small guy who can't even make a single cup noodle. The only good thing about it is that if you pay for one day's worth of parking, you can go in and out as much as you like, and there's a restaurant called Yamakasa that you can walk to and it's reasonably priced and delicious. Also, breakfast is included...but I don't feel like eating it, it's a bit too basic.

My husband and I went on a trip to the San'in region on Friday, March 29th. I drove there and stayed at a business hotel in Hamada City that day. On the 30th (Saturday), we left the hotel at 5:30 a.m. After visiting Motonosumi Inari Shrine, Tsunoshima Ohashi Bridge, and Tsunoshima Lighthouse, we headed to Shimonoseki City. I ate sushi at Karato Market and hadn't decided where to stay, so I called this hotel and they found a room available, so I decided to stay and checked in at 3:30pm. When I asked about the bath, I was told that I could take a bath in a place like the super hot spring next door. lucky. I stayed in the super hot spring for about 2 hours, including taking several saunas. I ate a lot of sushi until 3pm, so I went to bed after 6pm without eating anything. The next morning, we left the hotel around 5:30, stopped at Hofu Oshima, and wandered around the island. As it seems to be a mecca for cycling, there were many people stopping their cars and taking out their bicycles. There was a statue of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in the park right next to Oshima Ohashi Bridge. After that, I returned to Osaka. Unfortunately, the cherry blossoms were only about 30% in bloom due to the cold wave just before.
