This is a free campsite that requires reservations.Very convenient location as it is close to the cityThe areas are fixed, so it is best to check availability and reserve your desired location in advance. This is my second time using the service, and I made a reservation by calling ahead to check availability, and went directly to the reception desk at Tokiwa Hall to complete the application process.Facility1.Clean toilets with separate toilets for men and women and those with disabilities, with paper towels available2, Water equipment3, Grilling area4, bench5, Ground on the premisesUsage rules1, No open flames allowed2. Be sure to take your charcoal and trash home with you.3. Pets are allowed, owners must dispose of excrement and urine, and must wear a leash.4. There is also a signboard with usage rules, so be sure to check it and follow the rules.thoughtsThis is a campsite in a very well maintained park. The grounds are vast, and there is also a zoo and amusement park, so I think it's a place where families can enjoy things other than camping. The campsite is quite charming as there are quite a few people coming and going, so this time I spent a quiet time completely solo. One thing to keep in mind: A group of 5 to 6 local men in their 20s who are bottom-of-the-pack Yankees come to play baseball on the field inside the campsite. He doesn't mind playing baseball, but he's a scumbag who casually hits the ball against the tent and doesn't even apologize. In the end, he throws away the soles of his shoes on the campground grounds, and throws away the sweets he ate, empty lunch boxes, and bags. I couldn't stand to see it left unattended, so I had a battle with this group last year.If you are a local and violate the rules by causing a nuisance to other users, it is natural for you to use them with care.Naturally, we decided to notify Tokiwa Hall and clean up the trash. This year, there was no one at the bottom, which was good.

When we went there was no god, only bugs. You can park and sleep in the car, the bathrooms are good (especially the one for the disabled). The lake is very beautiful, it looks like camp rock

The toilets had been renovated and were clean. The kitchen doesn't feel that old either. It feels like an empty school ground, but I personally like it.However, while the parking lot and usage fees are free at the Lakeside North Campground, it is a shame that the boys' campground charges a fee for Tokiwa Park's paid parking lot. By the way, the day camp cost 500 yen. I think it would be nice if it would be possible to drive there by car.

In late July 2022, I went camping on the same day as the Ube City fireworks festival.Since we had made a reservation in advance, we headed straight to the campsite.(If you have made a reservation in advance, there is no need to go to Kosui Hall when entering or exiting)(You can use this place for free, there are no strict IN/OUT times, and there seems to be no power supply like the north campground)The person in charge explained in advance how to bring in the luggage, but I had to climb the slope from the second parking lot of Kosui Hall to bring it in (I used my own cart, and on days when there were other users, there was a chain in front of the slope). Is it okay if you remove it?)Reserved for the day.I had a preliminary look, but it was just an open parking lot with no grass and some weeds had been cut. There are a lot of mosquitoes, and mosquito coils are a must in the summer.Water stations and toilets were well maintained. There was a fireworks display that day, so I moved my chair to the shore of Lake Tokiwa and enjoyed the distant fireworks. It's a free campsite, so it can't be helped, but if you could at least allow people to drive their cars near the entrance or into the campsite to move their luggage, I think the number of users would increase slightly. It is also used as a parking lot during events.

When I was young, I went camping with children's parties. I once went to collect beetles and stag beetles in the middle of the night.☺️At the end of summer, you can hear the chirping of the Tsukutsukuboshi, which you can't hear in the Kanto region.
