In midsummer, it felt quite cool due to the high altitude. Around 30℃ (lower limit is 35℃)The space and atmosphere of the auto site are also good, making it my favorite campsite ☺️However, this time, right after I went, I was hit by a guerrilla thunderstorm (crying).

I went solo and used the site right in front of the auto camp's kitchen and toilet.Since there were no other users and it was just me, I was able to spend a relaxing time.I didn't use AC power or laundry, but the good points are that each site has potable water, hot showers are available 24 hours a day, and all trash can be disposed of.The manager was also kind and responsive.I want to use it again.

The campground is attached to a ski resort, and at an altitude of about 600m, it's cool at night even in summer. The campsite has one external power source and water source at two sites. This is a family-friendly campsite where you can enjoy mini steam locomotives, sledding, and fishing, and kids can enjoy it too.The showers that guests can use free of charge 24 hours a day were a great help as it was very hot and sweaty during the day!

Two retired couples went to auto camp for 2 nights and 3 days from May 25th to 27th. On the 25th, we were the only ones at site 51, and on the 26th, there were only two young couples at a site far away. You can use the shower as much as you want...no amenities. There are also two electrical outlets on site with a total of 20A. The campsite itself was a blessed environment surrounded by trees, with plenty of nature and the sound of birds. Unfortunately, there seemed to be some insects not on the site, but in the grass around the kitchen building, and since all four of us were barefoot and wearing slippers, we were bitten quite a bit near our ankles. I had no choice but to pass through the undergrowth, so when I spoke to the staff, they said, ``Because it's a mountain, there are insects.'' Is this what the staff at the paid campsite for ¥5,000↑/night says? I thought. It's been 10 days since I returned, but here are some photos of the bite marks. After being bitten by something, even after 10 days, as shown in the photo, I went to a dermatologist and applied various ointments, but the itching and scars still cannot be removed. Since it is a campground in the mountains, it is natural for there to be insects, so everyone who is planning to go to Tokusugamine, especially those with children, should be careful. It's not just pain or itching, it's fever and swelling. Right now, we're thinking, "Will I go there again?" I've been to many campgrounds in the mountains, but this is the first time I've ever experienced something like this. The bite marks on my dirty feet in the photo are the mildest of the four.If it's a paid campsite, you'll want to treat it with insecticides in advance. The camp left a bad impression on me because of how old men from the countryside were treated.
