I went there as a preview.There aren't many deserted camping spots this close to town. It is clear that this place has been completely abandoned by the Sanyo Onoda City administration. There are many traces of fires lying around, and people are vandalizing them as they please. Although it is called a campsite, it seems that not many people would want to camp here.The toilets were dirty and there was no running water (the only one that worked was the hand-washing area).I don't go to campgrounds that are generally not good.

The path from the parking lot to the top of the camp is long and steep.It is unmaintained, so the grass is overgrown and there is only space to set up tarps and tents.The restroom is located in the parking lot, so it's a hassle if you want to go to the restroom at night.

The area where you can camp is small and overgrown with vegetation, so if you want to use it as is, there are only about 2 sites. Originally, it was supposed to be about 5 to 7 sites wide, but we couldn't go in because of the vegetation and mud.So, if it's a BBQ, I feel like if there's only one group doing it, I wouldn't worry about it.The main park is Iris Park, so it doesn't feel like it's not maintained at all.There are toilets nearby, but they are Japanese style.It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the campsite.There is a Lawson across the street from the parking lot.
