Conveniently located near Maezawa Station with a supermarket right in front. If you drive, Chusonji Konjikido is not far away, making it a great sightseeing base.Although it is said to be old, you can enjoy the atmosphere of an ancient Japanese inn.Breakfast is very delicious as others have said.

The building is old, but it's very relaxing. The hostess is very nice and the breakfast is delicious. The miso soup in the morning is delicious. I would like to stay here again when I go to Iwate again.

2023.10 Stayed on the first day of a three-day holiday. I'm only going to sleep for the fall foliage mountain climbing, so it feels a bit old-fashioned, but it's okay. Breakfast was included, but when I asked about taking the train around 7am, I was told it would be ready by 6:30am. thank you for helping me.

I want you to see it because I don't want you to get me wrong.First of all, it is not a ryokan. Is it correct that it is no longer an inn? This is a very old guesthouse.I stayed there for two nights for work, and I now understand why the people at the site told me that if I wanted to stay there properly, I should go to Mizusawa or Morioka. My father is from Yuda, Nishiwaga Town, so we went to stay at an inn several times, but even in the countryside, the harshness is on a different level. The walls between the rooms are also quite thin, and I can even hear people talking.I don't really recommend it unless you have a really good reason to stay. There is no dinner, only breakfast.
