In addition to staying overnight, single men or groups of men can use it as a public bath to clean up their appearance while on a trip. The location is good and all amenities are available. However, it is a very normal facility. Some people may have a scary image of it because of the location, but in this day and age, unless you stick your head in the wrong direction, you're unlikely to get into trouble.

I had some time until the Tokyo Kyushu Ferry shuttle bus, so I used it to kill time. It's 1000 yen for 90 minutes. When you go up the stairs and pass through the entrance, you will find the front desk.Put your shoes in the locker and leave the locker key at the front desk, and they will give you a locker key to the changing room in exchange.Accounting will be done at that time. The lockers are quite old, so it may be safer to leave your valuables at the front desk. The bathhouse has a small indoor bath, cold bath, and sauna. In particular, the quality of the spring water has no efficacy. The third floor has an izakaya-style dining room and relaxation facilities. This is a retro Showa era space. There seemed to be a lot of regular customers, and I saw many of them getting friendly with the massage ladies. In the Kokura Station area, Starbucks and coffee shops are not open at night, so this may be a good place to adjust your ferry time.I was able to rest and feel refreshed.

Used when arriving in Kokura early in the morning by overnight bus. This sauna is open 24 hours, which is rare in the neighborhood. Thanks to you, I was able to wash off my sticky body on the night bus and enjoy sightseeing comfortably.

I used the sauna for 90 minutes for ¥1,000.There are towels, toothbrushes, razors, and scrubbing towels, so you can go empty-handed.The water bath is only about 15 degrees, so it's small but very cold.

[Revised version] I went to a capsule hotel again like last year, so I took a long bath in a slightly lukewarm bathtub, then had a light meal at a restaurant, and then went to bed. Last year, I had a pain in my lower back when I tried to wake up the next morning, but this year I didn't have that problem and had a good night's sleep (maybe the mattress was getting used to it?), the food I ate at the restaurant was delicious, and I had a great time.

There is a security camera installed in the locker room used for changing clothes, and when female staff enters and exits the bathroom, it is not possible to give a rating higher than 1 star. The locker was so small that I couldn't open it without putting the key in the keyhole and turning it several times. We had to climb stairs to enter the hotel, which was inconvenient as we were carrying large luggage. However, it is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Kokura Station.

A sauna with a nostalgic Showa era atmosphere. It's not modern and a bit old, but the staff are all very kind.

A capsule hotel near the station. There is only one sauna with the minimum necessary equipment. Dry saunas are so dry that it's rare these days. Overall, it is an important cultural property class facility!

I use it once a month for personal use. It's commonly known as a capsule hotel.Although the building has been around for quite some time and the facility is undeniably outdated, the inside of the building is well-maintained and you can spend a comfortable time here. The price is cheap, so I can't really complain, but if I had to point out any drawbacks, it would be that the capsules are small compared to other places, and the curtains at the entrance are so tattered that they don't really make sense. Or?Another thing is that you can't eat inside the building late at night (apparently you can just have a few drinks).CoCo Ichi is the only restaurant nearby, so we recommend that you have a good dinner before checking in.
