[Despite it being a hot springs inn, it is cost-effective with luxurious meals and sufficient amenities][Are there different tastes between old buildings and home-like services?]This is one of the inns at Dai Onsen, which is located a little further back from Hanamaki Onsen, about 5 km west of the Tohoku Expressway Hanamaki IC.Tai Onsen is known as a spa, and this inn is also a hot spring spa. However, if you don't care about the aging of the building, you'll be very satisfied. There is a private parking lot diagonally in front of the inn. The curb at the entrance is a little high, about 10 cm, but it was fine with my car, which has a low ground clearance, so it should be fine most of the time.As you would expect from a hot spring inn, there is no special welcome when you enter the entrance. Go straight to the back of the kitchen and call out to them and they will guide you to your room. By the way, there is no way to see you off after check-out.By the way, the Wi-Fi access key is posted near the entrance, so be sure to check it out.I don't know how old it was, but it's a fairly old building, so if there's a noise coming from the hallway, you can probably hear the noise coming from the next room, and there are stains on the walls that show it's long history. Also, there are areas like the kitchen where things are placed in a mess, so it feels more like a family home than an inn. However, if you don't worry about these things, it was more comfortable than I expected.Amenities in the room include a yukata, face towel, and toothbrush, and the bathroom has body soap and conditioner shampoo. Also, although I didn't use it myself, I think there is probably a refrigerator and hair dryer at the end of the hallway. (According to the information on the website, there is a hair dryer.)So, for now, just prepare a bath towel and take a bath.I had heard that the baths at Tai Onsen were hot, and they were indeed hot! I don't like hot baths, but I wanted to fully enjoy the free-flowing hot springs, so I did some trial and error. .Once I realized that the water was hot because I was moving my body in it, I stayed still and was able to get into the bath safely.Dinner is a luxurious lineup of eight dishes, including matsutake mushrooms steamed in clay pots, as well as rice and soba noodles, which you wouldn't expect from a hot springs inn.Although Hanamaki is far from the sea, there were three dishes of sea food, including sashimi. The earthenware pot steamer had a wonderful aroma and taste. The soba and rice were so delicious that I ate them all.Breakfast was also served with rice bowls and rice, so I ate a lot of rice from the morning. My accommodation cost was just over 8,000 yen, but when I was able to enjoy a bath and meal like this, I felt that the cost of the stay was a very small amount. It cannot be denied that the building is old, the hospitality is not like that of a normal inn, and the security is relatively simple, although it is considered, but I am a person who does not mind these things, and in fact can appreciate them. I can recommend it.thank you for helping me.(Used in June 2024)
