It was my first time staying at a hot spring bath.In total, I took a bath in five places. The bed is a little old, but the hot water makes up for it! I'll bother you again.

During my break from work, I visited Natsuyu Onsen, which can be called a secret hot spring, for the first time. Most of the people are visiting the hot springs or staying overnight, but I only use the hot springs on a day trip.Time is limited, so check before you go!After all, we will be running on a pretty hard mountain road, so we won't be able to enter when we arrive! I feel lonely. The bathing fee is 700 yen, but since I didn't bring a towel, I bought one for an additional 300 yen. (No rental)It is possible to take a day trip to the hot springs, including some indoor baths, but there are restrictions on men and women depending on the time of day, and some do not offer them in the first place. For better or for worse, there is not enough information, so you need to do some research. As the facility is known as a secret hot spring, it cannot be said that it is well maintained and is aging, but there is no sign of it being repaired.I think it's difficult unless you're someone who enjoys the inconvenience and the feeling of being in a secluded area.As for the famous hot spring, it was so hot that I couldn't soak it up to my shoulders.*I took a photo because no one was there.I don't have the image of staying for a long time, but it was good to be able to experience it as a story.

To put it bluntly, it's desolate. To put it bluntly, it's a mess. The guest rooms are similar to those in the second building of Tsuru no Yu. There is no TV or WiFi. The communal toilets also do not have heated toilet seats.Meals are served at designated times in the large hall. The hot springs aren't as hot as rumored, perhaps because of the current time of year, but it's still around 46 degrees. I can stay in it for 2-3 minutes, but when I get out, it's beyond hot and it hurts. The hot water is about the right temperature. The two indoor baths are somewhat hot. The open-air bath is a mixed bathing area, but it may be a hurdle for women as you are not allowed to wear towels or bathing clothes. Still, there are quite a few women. What is surprising is that if you use the shuttle bus, you will be charged 1,100 yen. I've been to many secret hot springs, but this was my first time. The total accommodation cost was just under 20,000 yen, but considering the room, the cost performance was not so good. The hot water is good, but if you prioritize taking a bath, the Touji building (Natsuyukan) might be a good choice. For this amount of money, Ubayu Onsen and Namegawa Onsen, which I visited at the end of last month, are better deals.

I went on a day trip. From the last 5km onwards, it becomes Kunekune Mountain Road. Although it is paved, the road continues to be narrow and sharply curved. For those who are worried about driving, we recommend Natsuyu Kogen Onsen, located in the foreground. There are five baths for men, all with different sources of water. The facility's recommendation seemed to be the super hot hot springs, which I highly recommended. It was so hot that I could only enter it for a moment. The lukewarm hot spring felt good.Although the source was different, I think the quality of the spring water was roughly the same. Please note that depending on the time, it may be reserved for women only.I went at about 11:30, and it was the best timing, and I was able to enjoy all the baths except for the women-only bath. It's almost odorless and transparent, but it's 100% free flowing from the source, so it's hot and warm, and the river itself is dyed the color of a hot spring.A must-see for lovers of secret hot springs. It's a little difficult to go, but I want you to go at least once.

This is a hot spring that you can enjoy just a short trip from Natsuyu Ski Resort. I often see this hot spring on posters, etc., so I wanted to go there♨️【exterior】As you can see in the video, all the buildings have a historical feel to them.It suddenly appears from the mountains, so it's in a place like this! What a surprise. Go through the reception, pay the towel + hot spring fee, and receive the map shown in the attached image.I was happy that the receptionist explained things to me in detail.【hot spring】There are 7 types of hot springs. Of all the hot springs I've been to, it has the most variety.*breakdown5 open-air baths 2 indoor bathsThere are 4 mixed bathing areas and 3 separate bathing areas for men and women.*ContentsWe have created an open-air bath area at the hot spring source. You will need to travel to each hot spring location. I visited in October, and you can enjoy watching the autumn leaves and seeing the beautiful river up close🍂*serviceThere is a shop and coin lockers (refunds) near the reception.*Where I entered⑦Kotengu no YuIt is an indoor bath with a washing area, so you will be guided there first. Hair dryer, shampoo, body sawBasic items such as flops etc. were included. There was one type of indoor bath and four washing areas.④True bath (mixed bath)It was a mixed bath and the temperature was right. It's about 40 degrees.② Colic bath (mixed bath)This is the narrowest and has the right temperature.① Large bath (mixed bath)It was super hot.*⑤Menoyu was closed due to the bridge being washed away.*mixed bathingPerhaps because it was a weekday in a hot spring area deep in the mountains, there didn't seem to be any crocodile-like humans there. Most of the guests were elderly people.*thoughtsI went in order from the entrance closest to me, so I ended up at the large bath, but it was too hot for me to take a long bath. When it's hot, the temperature seems to rise to 47-48 degrees. However, the river in front of us was light blue and really beautiful. Next time I would like to visit and stay overnight.

On October 2nd, I took a day trip from Kitakami Station in a rental car. Due to the intense heat this summer, the colors of the broad-leaved trees were all the same.Rent a private room, yukata, and bath towel and try the open-air bath and indoor bath. ① Big bath ② Koki no Yu ④ Shinyu ⑦ Kotengu no Yu in three hours.⑤Menoyu is currently closed due to the recent heavy rains and the Natsuburawa River flooded. ⑥The White Monkey is currently being cleaned, so you cannot take a bath. All of the open-air baths have their source water gushing out from under their feet, and the quality and temperature of the water varies widely. Overall, the temperature of the water was high, and I put my foot in the large bath, but it came out immediately. Personally, I like ④ Shinyu along the Natsuyu River the most because it allows you to enter a state of imagination while listening to the murmuring of the river. Renting a yukata was a great decision as I had to wear slippers while moving around the open-air bath. There are also coin lockers, so instead of renting a private room, we recommend using the large hall to rent a yukata.

Even though we call it a hot spring or a secret hot spring, we evaluate Natsuyu Onsen with the understanding that each person's preference for hot spring quality and temperature, quality of accommodation, overall atmosphere of the hot spring town, etc. varies from person to person.Although it is a famous secret hot spring, the quality of the spring water in both the indoor and outdoor baths is not unique, which disappointed me as I like cloudy hot springs and sulfur hot springs. The location was relaxing, right next to the river. . .The staff and regular guests at the inn all seemed to be experts, and I was confused as they seemed to have a special constitution.Even more unfortunately, the time I tried to go to the popular open-air bath, Oyu, was reserved for women, and even if I tried to go there after dinner, it was dark and eerie, and you could only enter until 8:30 p.m. I gave up. I decided to go in the next day, but the next day it rained in the morning and it was not possible to go in, so I had to give up again.Well, I was fully satisfied with the ``Mainyu'' that came before that, and I understood the quality of Natsuyu as a whole, so I don't mind. It's good that there's no TV, but the WiFi at the inn was unstable.Cell phone carrier lines are out in this mountainous area, so I'd like something to be done.Anyway, it's difficult to get there because it's deep in the mountains, but if the content is worth it, I think it was worth the trip...This time I went ahead and stayed one night, but if you have time, Stopping by and taking a bath will probably be enough.(However, please note that day trip baths are only available until 3:00 p.m.)I don't mean to say anything bad about it, but it's like a secret hot spring that chooses people.

It is truly one of the secret hot springs of the Showa era♨️⛰️The 6 open-air baths are self-spouting from the bottom!Due to the facility being closed during the winter, the facility may be damaged due to snow damage, but the hospitality of the staff is amazing.I will definitely visit again! !
