This is the origin of hospitality. It was an inn that was not only convenient and comfortable, but also truly considerate of its guests. I have stayed at many different hotels, but this place is in my top 3.

Visited in August 2024. It was an old inn, but it was very nice.To the east of Shiwa Chuo Station, it is located in a once-bustling area, either along the old Oshu Kaido road or the Kitakami River loading dock. The inn is very old. But there's a taste to it. The hallways, glass windows, rooms, toilets, and sinks are all clean and polished. I have never seen such a beautiful inn.The daily breakfast was delicious with more than enough items. The bath was spacious and the scent of wood still lingered.I keep one refrigerator at the entrance with my name written in marker. You can also use Wi-Fi. There is also a large parking lot in front. It was a very relaxing inn for me as I was out during the day.Dinner and convenience stores are within walking distance, and supermarkets and roadside stations are just a short drive away.thank you.

I will definitely come again. As others have said, the atmosphere inside the hotel is great. Although it is old, even an amateur can see that it has been well taken care of, and I have never felt it to be dirty. Also, the landlady, a grandmother, is very kind and kind. He told us about the fact that this area was a post town, and the history of the now-defunct Seito Ekiden and the farriers.Baths, washrooms, and toilets are shared. It's great for baths. The wall and ceiling bathtub is all made of wood and smells very nice.Although it is shared, there is a rule to lock the changing room when using it, so it is essentially reserved for private use. You will not be sharing a bath with other people. It cost 7,200 yen with two meals, and even though the accommodation fee was so cheap, there was a large selection of rice, so I was full. Of course it's delicious. This level of comfort is unbeatable at this price.Again, I will definitely come again.

I feel like my grandma when I was a child. Wooden floors, wooden doors, cypress bathrooms, wooden stairs, and sliding doors at the entrance to the room. It's quite a walk from the station. It can be a bit difficult on rainy days. There are no taxis at night, so arrive early in the day and either take a taxi or walk.Since it's a rural area, there aren't many convenience stores, so it's best to shop when you see it. The toilet and bath are shared. I don't really care about that, but I guess there aren't many of them. The toilet is shared with men.The room has air conditioning, a TV, a mirror, and a TV screen. Wi-Fi is also available. There was also a washing machine and dryer which was helpful. The refrigerator, electric kettle, and microwave are also shared. The cost performance is good and the staff are kind, so if you're a good fit for this inn, you'll be satisfied.I'm relatively satisfied. The snoring of the person next to me was almost painful 😅I meant to take more photos, but this is all I have, sorry.

This is a long-established inn that has been around since the Taisho era.The manager looks exactly like Tadanobu Asano, an actor who became a hot topic on TV, and is a wonderful person.I had a comfortable stay for 2 days.I will stay again.

Accommodation without meals: around 4,500 yenA ryokan located in the city of Hizume. It's quite old, but it has a decent number of rooms, and it seems like there were about 10 groups staying there, probably because it was a long weekend. It can't be called clean, but it's simple and good without being dirty. The customer service is neither good nor bad, and there is not much interference, so it is easy in a sense. I am also in charge of the keys. I smoked in front of the front door wearing a paper bag to quit smoking. There are also plans that include meals. The refrigerator and microwave are at the entrance. The area is well-stocked with restaurants, etc., so I didn't have any trouble staying overnight without meals. There are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby.

I visited to watch a volleyball game at the Shiwa Town General Gymnasium. The gym is just a few minutes walk away. The location was too great for me. There was a Lawson, hot springs, and several restaurants within a few minutes walk. There was a line at the soba restaurant before noon. The room feels like home. The bathroom was new and very nice. I was able to relax in the spacious bathtub with the scent of wood. In the morning, I was woken up by a sparrow and felt very refreshed. I would like to help you again if there is a volleyball event.
