Bad bed, super noisy air conditioning, dirty room, bathroom in poor condition and horrible quality, dirty bath towels, the bed has a 5 cm mattress on a wooden board apparently, so very hard, quite bad to be honest.

The Kristi house is a very fine hostle the room are clean and comfortable. Before we have been in a really good hostel in chiang mai and it didn't fell behind it.The area us really good and fun with great restaurants and bars (Sunday market is really close and recommended)The owners are really nice and have a lotof good and not expensive attractions to offer and this is the reason why we came to chiang may and it was really comfortable having it in the reception. Great experience and definitely i will come back to this hostel if I'll come back to chiang mai

Cheap accommodation; room and bathroom was good for the low price.However, after the AC being on for 20 minutes, water started pouring out of the unit and onto our belongings (ruined my deck of Arsenal cards). When we asked for it to be fixed they said they would fix it (some guy cleaned the filter) but in the middle of the night it started pouring again. The day after they only offered for us to change rooms in the morning at 7am, two minutes before our van arrived to pick us up for an activity knowing full well we wouldn’t have time to change now, and he said we couldn’t change later. No compensation was offered, seems like no sympathy either. Two sleepless nights because of the heat.It would’ve been good value for money if the AC worked or if it had been fixed promptly. Don’t expect much in terms of service.

Terrible experience!The hotel rooms and facilities are decent, however the service is the worst I've ever encountered. The check in was delayed by 45! min. No apology, no compensation all they had to say was that another guest checked out late so that's it.Room was on 3rd floor, no elevator, the staff made no effort what so ever to help us with our luggage. Our room wasn't cleaned becasue according to the staff they only clean rooms that explicitly ask for it, which wasn't communicated to us on check in. And the worst thing is that they tried to take our deposit over two small stains on one towel, which wasn't our fault. We asked to see their clean towels and the first two he pulled out were stained! So how dare they try to keep our deposit when they provide stained towels! Reading through reviews I see we weren't the only ones they tried to scam this way.

You get what you pay for. Kristi house is slightly more expensive than a hostel, and its rooms are slightly nicer than one. It’s not a luxurious hotel, but it has air conditioning and it’s in a good location. The front desk staff is helpful.My only note is that the bathroom was actually pretty gross. There were some holes in the ceiling by the shower that looked rusty and moldy. It would be great if they could get that fixed.

Good hotel. Not too fancy. Basic equipment. Our room had AC, TV fridge and a kettle. Bathroom clean and hot water. Overall a pleasant stay for a few days.
Also a local tour operator is based in the lobby arranging trips, taxi etc

The rooms were dirty when we arrived. Not good beds. The air conditioning made so much noise that we couldn't sleep at night. The service was tiresome and on top of that they took our deposit because of a towel that had some self tan residue on it. They justified this by saying that they did not have a washing machine to wash the towel with. So I don't know how dirty both towels and bed linen are if they are not washed in washing machines before staying. Not value for money. Little service by the staff.

My partner and I stayed here a few times back in December. This was one of my top 3 favorite places that we stayed at during our travels. The staff working here were so friendly and helpful. We ended up booking 3 different activities through the hotel (elephants, cooking class and a longboat trip) and everything went very smoothly. Definitely would recommend staying here!! Thank you!!

Every time I open or close the door to the room, it makes a squeaking noise. There are many ants in the room. No maintenance has been done.

Super stay for welcome by Mrs. Nancy, the tour operator and organizer of the b&b.Booked with Boking but you pay in cash on arrival. Large but simple double room on the 1st floor, quiet. Therelocation is great, in the old town inside the walls near the Temples and restaurants. Breakfast available with coffee or tea and biscuits and snacks.Excellent solution also for booking excursions and transfers from Nancy, she helped us with everything in a pleasant way and with prices appropriate to the requests. Recommended and thanks to Krysti House and Nancy

Location is quite good in terms of nearby sightseeing places and night market, but at night gets quite deserted so for female solo travelers might be a concern. Rooms are pretty decent for the money but the lady at the reception selling tours is not good. I chose to book my tours by myself and she was not happy about it. Also they have a good pantry area with free cup noodles , tea, coffee and biscuits. They have gas stove and toaster etc but no microwave. One night I returned late from day trip so wanted to preheat some frozen food and there was no option. I asked if I can use the gas stove, the lady said gas is finished. I had to sleep that night without food because grab also couldn’t deliver food because they couldn’t find the address. Room and cleanliness is all good but day trips services are not good and hospitality is not good. She was charging more for all the day trips compared to Klook and others.

The room was spacious, but not very good for the price. First of all, there is no elevator, so it is difficult to carry heavy luggage up to the 4th floor.There are cups, water, and pots, but no instant coffee or tea.The shower had weak water pressure and no hot water. The only amenities are a toothbrush set, cotton swabs, and hand soap. Body soap and shampoo are available. There is also no hair dryer or safety box.On the positive side, the Sunday night market and convenience stores/bars are within walking distance.

The rooms are simply furnished, it could be a bit more comfortable, but you have everything you need. Air conditioning and WiFi work well.The absolute highlight is Nancy, who sits downstairs at reception and helps you with everything you need, arranges tours and scooters, offers laundry service and is always available for a nice chat. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring a lot of Chiang Mai on foot and yet it is so quiet that you can sleep well in the evenings. Absolute recommendation!!
