Thank you for taking care of me during my stay. The room was a Japanese-style room. When I was handed the room key at the front desk, a female staff member took my luggage and guided me to the room.I think it's a very difficult job to carry heavy luggage. In addition, we will take the elevator up to the 6th floor while explaining the places you will pass during your journey, such as the drink lounge, shop, dining hall, public bath, entertainment room (karaoke, table tennis), and opening hours. I thought it was good and easy to understand because it was directed like a tour guide.I don't know if that's why, but leaflets and leaflets with floor plans inside the building are omitted⁇I believe that some people collect floor plans of accommodation facilities. (I'm one of them), but I thought that was a good thing. The large public bath is really large and the water quality is also good for me personally. It was good. There are many large public baths in hotels, but Taikan's large bath was the most appealing.Meals are buffet style in the evening and morning.I read Mr. Taikan's reviews many times before staying here.People who don't have a sense of morals and shame and write reviews about small menus, common menus, meals that aren't included in the accommodation fee, etc. are rude. Not helpful at all.The menu has quite a lot of Japanese, Western, and Chinese food.I thoroughly enjoyed the two hours.I am satisfied that I conquered the entire menu little by little. From local Hitsumi and soba noodles to pot-cooked rice, the live kitchen's seasonal Maitake mushrooms had a nice, chewy texture.Shrimp tempura must be a chef's skill. It was so crispy and crunchy that you could even eat the tail shell. I ate a lot of it by adding tempura to the hit miso soup.I have a lot more to write about, but I'll end here.If I have a chance, I will visit Hotel Taikan again!

Stayed here for one night in October 2024. Although it is an old hotel that is 40 years old, I didn't feel any inconvenience. The bed was a little cheap, but the room was spacious and the view from the window was great. The public bath is as big as a 25m pool, so you never feel cramped. The only sound I could hear from the open air was the sound of water, and I was the only one there at night and in the morning, so I enjoyed a luxurious time. The dance at the affiliated hotel was also wonderful. It was easy to go back and forth by shuttle bus.The only drawback was that I felt the quality of the food was a little low. However, since the price is the price, maybe I should be satisfied with this.We also rent bicycles. I think it would be nice if it wasn't winter.

The hotel is built with a long-established atmosphere facing Lake Gosho and has a nice atmosphere, but the road from the general road to the front of the hotel is narrow, dark, and unmaintained, weeds grow all around, the parking lot is in disrepair, and the inside is also a bubble. It feels old and luxurious, but at the same time feels a little lonely. The room was a fourth room, spacious and relaxing, but it would have been even better if there was a curtain between the two beds.My room was on the 3rd floor, so I could see the bushes and weeds first, so it didn't feel like a lake view (I went up to the 11th floor when I checked out and took some photos). The food is buffet, and I think the variety is okay, but there's almost nothing I'd want to eat here, and there's a lot of frozen food. The vegetables were cabbage and cherry tomatoes, the fish were grilled mackerel and a few pieces of sashimi, and the meat was pork and chicken.Bespoke super! Luxury brand beef steak too... hmm... really at this price? It's such a low quality item. Also, since it was my niece's birthday, I ordered a cake as a surprise, but ended up bringing the high-quality frozen cake in a box without thinking about the timing.I hurriedly opened the package in front of the person, went to retrieve the candle I had forgotten, and was left frantic with the unlit Chukkaman. To put it bluntly, the surprise that will never happen in the future is a big mistake that will never happen in the future due to clumsiness on the hotel's part.Only the hot springs were relatively good (though the corners were dirty...).Well, there isn't a single element that repeats itself.

The young female staff at the front desk was not very responsive. His voice was low and his attitude was very unbelievable for someone in the customer service industry.I think they should be taught to improve. The inside of the hotel was spacious and the hot springs were very nice.

Located on a hill, you can see the lake in front of you. There are spider webs on the outside of the window, but I think the inside has been thoroughly cleaned. I wonder if the people at the shops could be a little more efficient.

I used it last fall, and the hot springs are amazing! The indoor bath is so big that you might think it's overkill. The quality of the spring water is smooth and there is no chlorine smell! The food is equally delicious. The view from the room is also nice. The facilities are old and there are noticeable stains in some places, which is a concern...I especially hope they do their best to clean the bathrooms. They have filed for bankruptcy and are currently planning a revitalization plan, but since they have such wonderful hot springs, I am rooting for them to somehow increase the number of users.Of course I want to continue using it!

It's dirty Shran. The quality of the hot springs is really good and I like them, but it's really disappointing that the hot springs, such as Tsunagi Onsen, are not kept well-cleaned. I've been using it for the first time in a while, and I'm happy that the drink section now offers DAKARA and carbonated water! I thought so, but the saucer under the server was full of mold. In the gap under the mirror in the washing area of the public bath, there are many rusted pins from an unknown age. The windows are really dirty. The mat that is placed to prevent slipping is also moldy. It's normal for bugs to appear in open-air baths in the summer, but I think I'll refrain from taking a bath if I read that warning. I feel that other hot spring inns have been more kind to their customers. I think it would be nice if they took the time to clean and take care of their customers. There was also a game corner, but the light was very bright. I felt like I was starting to regret things. I love the quality of the hot springs, so I'm looking forward to the future.

I thought this would happen someday. I felt that way when I stayed there before. I am writing this because it is not listed in the hotel features column. Please don't criticize my sloppy customer service!
