I used it at a day trip hot spring. There are hot baths and lukewarm baths. There is no shower; hot water collects in pot-like pottery. From there, pump water with a small pipe and wash it away.Washing your hair can be a little difficultThere was shampoo provided, but I think it would be better to bring your own.The sulfur smell wasn't too harsh and had a soft feel. The autumn leaves outside while taking a bath this season were beautiful. There is no toilet in the changing room, so you should use the toilet beforehand. It's next to the entrance to the changing room. The price was 700 yen for adults.

At the foot of Hachimantai, the cloudy light blue water had just the right amount of water and was very pleasant. The hot water smelled of sulfur and made me feel like I was in a hot spring until I got home. There was so much food that I couldn't finish it all. The food from the mountains was good, such as trout sashimi and wild vegetables.

I am very satisfied with the sulfur spring filled with floating hot water flowers. After all, the best thing about hot springs is soaking in the scent of sulfur. The food was delicious and used plenty of local ingredients. I was happy with the mountain girls and sea squirts, but since it's the season, I wanted to eat Shimizu no Mi, so I was happy with this menu.If I was staying alone, the toilet would be shared in the room, and although the facilities were obviously outdated, I was able to spend a comfortable time without any unpleasant smells. I think people who are used to modern hotels might complain about the cleanliness and hygiene, but it felt like an old-fashioned inn, so I didn't have any problems with it. Dead insects are a given in this location. However, I wonder if the problems with some equipment, such as the screen door coming undone, are due to a lack of manpower. The morals of the customers (or should I say some of the people who write reviews on Google Maps?) are highly questionable. Not only is photography prohibited in the baths here, but it is also prohibited to bring in devices that can take photos, such as cell phones. There are many photos of the interior of the bath that can be seen here and there in the reviews. Are there many people who can't read Japanese? There was also an English notation lol

The hot springs here are wonderful. The quality of the spring water is also excellent! ! There is also an open-air bath for women only. Please come and join us.However, staying overnight is not recommended. I was traveling alone, and the room was old and didn't have air conditioning. It was a dimly lit Japanese-style room, but it took courage to lie down on the tatami. There is no toilet or washroom in the room. I was the only person on the floor I stayed on, and I had to walk through an empty hallway to an old toilet that was full of bugs.Well, it's an unexplored hot spring, so even if I could tolerate it, the food was disappointing. At first glance, I was happy to see that there were so many items, but the food was prepared in advance, so I wondered what time it was made. The tempura and grilled fish are cold enough to make you want to ask. The tempura was surprisingly crunchy and different from tempura. Iwate Tankaku Beef grilled on a ceramic plate is grilled on the spot, so you can enjoy it warm, but which Tankaku Beef is it from? As much as you might want to ask, the meat was so tough that it wasn't tasty at all. As expected, the warm rice, miso soup, and pickles were the most delicious. For breakfast, the milk from Koiwai Farm was delicious.I was planning to take it easy, but I was concerned about hygiene, so I left the hotel as soon as possible. The price is not worth it. The hot springs are amazing, so I recommend a day trip to the hot springs.
