The hotel is old and the price is high! ! When I checked out, I found it was raining outside. I wanted to borrow an umbrella, but I was told that it could only be used on the day of check-in! What kind of weird logic is this? I live here too and just checked out. I really don’t know what this strange rule is! Anyway, I won’t come again! The counter staff also had a bad attitude! so bad’

Nice hotel in a great location! A short walk from Shibuya and Harajuku stations. The rooms are a bit small and old but worked fine for one person. I appreciated the daily towel refresh that they provided even when I didn’t want full room cleaning. The welcome snack was also delicious :)

My experience was far from satisfactory.Upon arrival, the check-in process was unusually slow. Despite having a reservation, I found myself waiting for over 45mins in the lobby (which was very hot) while the front desk staff (only one staff) seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. It was frustrating, especially after a long journey.

I recently stayed at the Dormy Inn Premium in Shibuya, and while the hotel has its advantages, I feel that it falls short of the "premium" label in several aspects.Let’s start with the onsen. For a hotel that advertises itself as premium, I expected the onsen experience to be exceptional. Unfortunately, the onsen water is just regular water—nothing particularly special about it, and it lacks the mineral-rich, healing properties you might find at other onsens around Japan. If you are looking for a genuine, rejuvenating onsen experience, this might be disappointing. Moreover, there is no outdoor section for the bath, which, for me, is one of the highlights of onsen bathing. The joy of soaking in hot water while breathing in fresh air and looking at the sky is simply not available here.Adding to the underwhelming onsen experience is the fact that the hotel broadcasts a looped video in the bath area. I’m not sure of the intent behind this, but it definitely takes away from the serenity and relaxation one would expect in a bathhouse. Instead of soothing, it feels somewhat commercial and repetitive, which, again, doesn’t align with what I would expect from a premium stay.On a positive note, the hotel’s lobby is spacious, especially for those who travel with lots of luggage. I found this particularly helpful during check-in and check-out, as the large luggage storage area made it convenient to move around freely without feeling crowded. It's clear that Dormy Inn considered the practical needs of travelers when designing the lobby, and it’s one of the features I appreciated. The location of the hotel in Shibuya is excellent, making it easy to access the vibrant district with its shops, restaurants, and famous crossing. If you're in Tokyo for sightseeing or shopping, the convenience of staying here cannot be overlooked. However, if you're primarily interested in a premium hotel experience and high-end amenities, you might want to reconsider. To conclude, Dormy Inn Premium in Shibuya offers convenience and practicality, especially for those with luggage or those who want to be close to the heart of Shibuya. However, the premium label feels like a stretch given the lackluster onsen and the distracting bathhouse atmosphere. I would suggest the hotel more as a practical option rather than a destination for relaxation and premium comfort.

The community bath is open all night and is kept in immaculate condition. It's a great way to soothe sore feet before/after sightseeing in Tokyo or recuperate, late-night, while adjusting to a new time zone. Includes hot tub, showers, sauna, cold bath, and assorted toiletries.

Amazing hotel for the price – highly recommend! The Dormy Inn is centrally located in a popular part of Shibuya (but down a side street so you don’t get the street noise). It’s a short walk from major stations which is a must for Tokyo since you will take public transport everywhere. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the public bathing area was, they have a public bath and cold plunge. They even have popsicles for after – who doesn’t love a free treat?! Also, Yamato shipping is located directly across the street so you can ship your luggage to the next destination overnight (we shipped to Kyoto) for super cheap.

[Good points]・Breakfast is rich in variety. delicious・The room is clean. Separate toilet and sink. blackout curtains・I made a reservation with a plan for check-out at 11:00, but for some reason the check-out was at 1:00 p.m. (I was told it was a 1:00 p.m. plan, but when I checked my email, it was still 11:00)・I made a single reservation, but for some reason there were two sets of amenities each.・Amenities were provided in the room (many hotels these days have them near the front desk, but it's a hassle)・Welcome drink included・Dessert and bottled water in the room・It is quiet at night, but the area around the hotel is reasonably bright.・Wi-Fi available・All staff are polite[Bad points]・Room is small・No bathtub・It's right next to the railroad tracks, so the shortest route from Yoyogi Daiichi Gymnasium is surprisingly far even if you pass under the elevated track (within walking distance)*Please reconsider the arrangement of desks and chairs in the breakfast venue. It's good when no one is sitting, but when the place is nearly full, it becomes difficult to pass behind the chairs with a tray. dangerous【others】・Bath, night noodles, and ice cream are not available due to time constraints and I would like to use them next time.

Small rooms, if you have larger luggage you’ll have a hard time unpacking. Laundry room is super convenient and because of its small size, the hotel didn’t seem crowded. Overall, a great hotel with convenient location, close to several train stations and lots of food/shops.
