This was such a beautiful vacation for my friends wedding. They went above and beyond to organise a BBQ, Gala night etc for you. There some delays with our ferry at Sekupang and they did their best to ensure we were comfortable. Thanks Ella, Mark, Bob & team.||Special thanks to the Telunas Spa team. You were AMAZING

Quiet and beautiful resort with very clean rooms. Came with 2 elderly and 2 kids below 9yrs oldOur villa faced the sea view with morning sunrise and a balcony deck that was very lovely.Rented 2 overwater villas that was 2 floors.Ended up no one slept on the upper deck as every time you walked on it, it creaked so bad the ones below won’t be able to sleep. The steps were also steep with a large gap so we were worried our young ones will fall while coming down at night to use the bathroom. So we didn’t use it.We brought mattresses down to put it at the side of the King bed but on the floor it’s hot as the villa is non aircon - only a strong fan, so they couldn’t sleep…Ended up both kids slept 3 nights on the balcony where it was windy and surprisingly no mozzies. It was lovely under the stars and with morning sunrise. That said, our entire stay it didn’t rain so we could do that. There’s lots of activities to do - kayaking hike to a mini waterfall, take the boat to the opposite island where there’s a nice clean and quiet beach, stand up paddle board, board games, soccer ball. Kids spent most time in the pool for the resort.Plus point is definitely the super staff that are very friendly, tries to remember yr kids names. They did magic tricks, they went out of their way to make hot chocolate for them, catch crabs and cook it for them. The kids loved the staff.Ok now for the honest part, personally I felt the food was ok but not great, some of the dishes were nice esp the local dishes but some of them not so good esp when it comes to the western style dishes like spaghetti, Mac and cheese, chicken fingers.Because there’s no other options for food other than the resort so for me to not feel excited about the food, I felt it was a pity. So the pics I saw on the food being super awesome - I felt probably need to tamper the expectations a bit. However I learnt that telunas is more than a resort, it’s really invested to help support sustainably, the community around it. They even sponsored higher education for a number of the children there. So the people really serve from the heart because this is like their home and family. That’s why you could sense the difference.Another plus point was that I wrote this same feedback to the resort when I left (because what’s the point of sharing to others and not to the owners who can make the change) and the CEO replied and was absolutely open in the response so it’s nice that they do hear the customers.Overall, my husband loved the quietness and the peace, it’s very safe for the kids. I don’t love the food so much but definitely open to returning.Another guest with a young family shared u could check out Nico island next time too but Nico island has much more kids so more noisy compared to Telunas.

We had an AMAZING experience in Telunas private island. We came during the off-peak season in August and had a quiet and peaceful time. Experienced a bit of rain in the morning but water was clear thereafter in the afternoon, which was absolutely beautiful to walk in. We planned in jungle trekking, village visiting in the morning, water activities such as SUP and kayaking in the afternoon, and round island walk in the evening. Somedays are spent lazing around in the huts where hammocks and daybeds were available or going for a 90-min massage. What I really like is the disconnection from electronics as there are limited (to no) WiFi in the villa which gives us a chance to connect with each other more or just chill with a book. The staff pride themselves with being a part of the Telunas family and it speaks a lot about how the founders treat their staff. There are so much more I could point out in from this trip. But 1 thing for sure, i'll definitely be back!Heartfelt thank you every staff we have encountered with this time! I only managed to capture a few names - Fica, Al, Sarul, Cici, Dika, but honestly there are way more that are behind the scenes (eg, from making sure rooms are clean and tidy everyday to making sure our food is cooked and ready to be served everyday to setting up the bonfire and singing for us). So BIG THANK YOU to every single one of you! We appreciate your good hospitality in making everyday memorable.

Best service at a resort I've had. Staff are like family -- the families that were there had no qualms about leaving their kids with the staff.||Beautiful bungalows - just that degree of rustic that reminds you that you're going back to basics.||Best massage I've had in years.

We loved our experience at Telunas private island. We stayed in their beautiful ridge villas, hidden in the forest, with a private pool and stunning pool. Service was the kindest, food good, mixing local and international dishes. …
