In total this hostel is fine. Clean and the staff is really friendly. What I missed most about this hostel there was no social gathering area or something like it. I spend 3 nights in the „common room“ but nobody showed up.Usually after staying some weeks in Japan I want to talk to people and meet other travelers it was very hard to do there.Usually I would meet people in a smoking area or at a bar but both are non existent in this hostel. For smoking you have to walk back to the station because even outside around the hostel there is no place to have a cigarette. The hostel was clean, beds are comfy and staff is helpful. If you search for a quite place to be then it’s a good choice. If you want to meet people I recommend somewhere else.

I have used it about 3 times in the morning. The space is very nice, with a foreign atmosphere, lots of delicious menu items, and interaction with guests, but I'm always surprised by the unfriendly and harsh female staff.I think it would be better to at least serve customers with a smile and deepen the interaction. My personal recommendation is the bagel morning set (980 yen)🥯The set comes with granola, yogurt, coffee, and orange juice!

Most things about the hostel are great, main concern is the constant loud cleaning that takes place each morning while many people are still sleeping… I stayed at this hostel for 5 nights and every single morning, the staff would come in and start vacuuming and cleaning the room very loudly. They made a lot of noise each morning, waking up multiple people in the room, and they would continue to clean for HOURS… I would suggest that they move the cleaning time to later in the day so they can accommodate their guests and ensure that they are not waking people up each morning. I spoke with many of the other guests about our experience in this hostel and we all share the same feedback.

Very good value for money, clean, good location, small but tasty breakfast included in the price, also the "rooms", more bed capsules, are very cosy as there is the possibility to get some daylight, there are curtains at the end of the bed, so less claustrophobic.

This hostel was the worst one I've been to in Japan. It was not very comfortable, you can tell everything is old and not well maintained, the staff weren't helpful, there was 0 social atmosphere, and it's not close to anything walking distance. The other location of the same chain (in Shinjuku) is infinitely better in every way.

I accidentally prematurely submitted a review on Hostel World without mentioning the staff, and so I'm writing here because I really want to emphasize how good the service was. I opted to go to a matsuri in Kagurazaka led by one of the staff members, Julija, and it was so much fun. She was also very helpful and friendly to me throughout the trip and gave recommendations. I'm very happy to have stayed at a hostel which offers activities like this and has such amazing staff.
