I'm an acquaintance of the owner of this place. In January 2024, all buildings on the site burned down, leaving only one hut. It is said that the guesthouse will reopen as a new building next year (as of March 2024). It seems that the site will be divided into left and right sides with the brothers, so it will be a vertically long site from now on.The schedule has been postponed, and it seems likely that it will reopen in 2026 (as of April 2024).We look forward to seeing you when we reopen 🙇

The shower was late at night, but the owner arranged for me to take a shower. The breakfast is just a bonus (as mentioned in the review, it seems like there are people who don't like it), so it would be nice if you stayed overnight without meals. The place to stay is an atriumBicycle rental is 500 yen with Mamachari. For dinner, be careful as there is nothing around late at night...Also, it takes 25 minutes to walk from Kashihara-Jingumae Station...

The owner was friendly and gave us a lot of information about travel and the surrounding area. I stayed in a single room, and it was clean and I was able to sleep soundly. …

I arrived late so my photos are all taken in the dark with low lighting. The guesthouse was nice and the owner is, too. We had a comfortable stay. The shower is outside the house and there’s a switch for the water supply. Ask the owner where it is before you sleep in case you plan to bathe early. The bed was very comfortable and warm. The walls between the rooms are thin though so guests can hear each other. The sink by the toilet doesn’t have hot water and the faucet is short. Besides that (which is really a small thing), everything was nice, even the breakfast (it looks tarinai but it’s actually pretty heavy, at least for me). Would stay here again if I ever visit the area again in the future (and I don’t say this a lot about the places I stay at, which is usually low-priced accommodations). 👍
