From the photographs it seems to be a good Hostel, but the truth is that they are a disaster! There is never anyone at the reception, and even if you find someone, they won't help you either because they don't speak English (I don't understand how working in a hostel they don't speak English to communicate with customers)My room was interior and there was no natural light coming in, there was only a small window for ventilation and it smelled very bad. They do not clean the rooms daily. They only change the sheets when someone leaves. The sinks are extremely small and dirty, as they are not cleaned every day either. One day I wrote a message on Booking! to ask them if they could clean the sink because it couldn't even be used. The kitchen is very small, and it would be nice if there were cooking materials, but there are very few things (we tried to have dinner for four people and there were no cutlery for everyone)The kitchen is next to the dining room and since it is such a small space, the entire common room immediately smells of food and it is very unpleasant (if you are in a room on the ground floor and they don't close the door, you sleep with the smell of food)In the room there is a small locker, but the rest of the day the door to the room is open for whoever wants to enter (very little security)It is well located near the station, but I would not book this accommodation again

Stayed two nights and got bitten badly by insects, especially on night two. All over arms, particularly hands. Some on tummy and legs. First time to experience in Japan this lumpy redbites and itchiness. Really dirty also, so should not be surprised. Lots of unflushed toilets. A huge pile of shoes when entering property. Could not get in with luggage as shoes everywhere blocking the entire doorway.Horribly tiny washrooms. The smallest I have ever used. Smoke smell everywhere. Upstairs in dorm 209 the smoke came up from outside where all smokers sat. In living room stank of smoke. Did not like the dorms. One bunk bed and one double bed. 4 people in three beds. Couples should not be in dorm rooms in same bed.

I wouldn't trust negative reviews. At least I would trust the positive ones like this equally. The room was great, very clean. The hostel has nice common areas and is very well maintained. Also close to the station and the park.

Dirty, with mold down below the shower curtains. Room mirror has not been cleaned in months. Horrible smell of humidity in bathroom and room. Disgusting. The worst hostel I've been to in Japan. Clearly it didn't meet our expectations. Unfriendly staff too, didn't even care to say hello. And there are bed bugs. I got bitten all over my body. I surely would never recommend this place to anyone.Dirty, with mold on the bottom of the shower curtains. The mirror in the room has not been cleaned in months. Terrible musty smell in the bathroom and room. Disgusting. The worst hostel in all of Japan. It clearly did not meet our expectations. Unfriendly staff too, they didn't even greet us when they saw us in the hall. And there are bed bugs. You can't see them but they stung me all over my body. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

I'm usually really not meticulous in terms of cleanliness but the toilets/showers were really dirty and smelly. And I don't recommand sitting on the coach or in the chairs in the living room because I got bitten a lot of time in a very short period by something...Because I was afraid of bedbugs, I had to wash everything after and it was a bit stressful.I am very sorry for the negative comments but I think people should be warned.

The location is the only good thing to tell about this place that is frankly the only bad hotel I have stayed after 6 months in Japan. Noise, very dirty specially the shower, at night people gather in a patio to smoke next to the windows of the rooms. Sincerely worst place to rest.

Guests staying at the hotel have poor manners and are causing a nuisance to the area around the hotel. Also, perhaps because the owner and staff are rarely at the hotel, you can often see trash scattered around.
