We chose this hotel as a place to enjoy a trip to Akiyoshidai, the Kanmon Strait, and Kitakyushu. Although the building is quite old, the room was spacious and the hot springs were very good.I don't usually do it, but I went there both morning and night, both nights. I also saw a 1,000-year-old camphor tree nearby and was filled with energy.

Because they own their own hot springs, they can use an abundance of extremely fresh hot springs. I was impressed by the small size of the bathtub, so it was quick to replace with new water and the water didn't get dull.

A hot spring inn that uses hot water well. You can enjoy fresh homemade hot spring water in a small bathroom. The water quality is good in Kawatana Onsen behind the public bath. How to use hot water⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! ️ It's easy to use, but the bathing sensation is inferior to Tawarayama Onsen and Yumoto Onsen (PH8.1).Although the building is old, it is well maintained and cleaned, making it a comfortable stay. Each room has a shower and toilet, new tatami mats, and a large refrigerator. The hot springs are small but not crowded, as they seem to be limiting the number of guests to the number of rooms.Prices are relatively reasonable. The people at the hostel are kind. The changing room is air-conditioned, which is a good consideration. You can also keep your spot in the parking lot.We had our meals in a separate room. It's quite delicious. The bath is on the first floor and requires climbing up and down stairs, so I think it would be difficult for people with walking disabilities.I would like to stay there again if I have the chance.

Day trip bathing. Usage fee: 800 yen.The location of the parking lot may be a little difficult to find for people outside the area. I was a little confused because there were colored cones (for guests?) and iron plates in some places, but I was able to park there without any problems. The bath is not very big, but it feels like a reasonable size. There are 4 washing areas. I went on a Saturday just after it opened, and there were two people taking a bath first, so there were 4 people including me and my companion, but we were able to take our time.Although there was an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, both were clean and had a good impression. The open-air bath is lukewarm, so it's a good idea to step in while touching the hot water spout. The indoor bath was a suitable temperature for me.I personally like the feeling of hot water, as it doesn't overwhelm me and is just right, but hot spring lovers may find it unsatisfactory.I would definitely use it again.

Thank you for staying one night with breakfast included. There are no convenience stores nearby, so we recommend checking in early or after eating at a restaurant along the way.The bath can be used all night, which is great for my family who loves hot springs.Although I will be far away, I would like to visit you again♪

In early March, I used the day trip bath on a Saturday.Enjoy the hot springs on your own with no other customers. The indoor bath was hot, if not hot, and the outdoor bath was lukewarm, so you could stay in it forever. The building, which is designated as a cultural property, is wonderful, so you might want to stop by for a coffee shop.
