If you want a unique Edo period experience, this is the place to book. The owner and his wife are amazing people and absolutely wonderful. The home is very beautiful and well maintained, there are chickens you can get eggs from for breakfast, and plenty of space to spread out in. It's in a quiet neighborhood just far enough away to get some privacy, but you will want to grab groceries before you go up. The street it is on does have a very SHARP curve so some taxis won't go down it.They supply a list of local shops and restaurants in their books so you can preplan your next day. 10/10 don't skip out on this place if u are looking to book something unique after being in the urban area for so long.

I stayed here for one night without meals. Pets are not allowed on tatami, so they will have to stay somewhere other than tatami. There was also a fence, which was convenient. The bath was made of cypress, the room had a hearth, there was a koi pond in the garden, and the smell of tatami mats was soothing. The owner couple was very kind and made me feel at ease. There was a 7-Eleven within walking distance, which was convenient. There was a drug store, Sandy, 5 minutes away by car. The road in front of the inn is narrow, making it difficult to turn, so if you have a large car, you have to be careful not to let the wheels slip off. It was nice to have a parking space for 2.3 cars. I would definitely use it again.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family. It was a much better memory than staying at a regular hotel.

The other day, I went to stay with 8 people plus 2 🐕.Breakfast and dinner are self-cooked.There are plenty of rice cookers, pots, seasonings, plates, etc., so all you need to do is buy the ingredients.Since there were 8 people, there was a large amount of food, so the refrigerator felt a little small. There was a convenience store about 5 minutes walk away, so it was convenient to buy ice cream if you forgot to buy something. There were also two bicycles, one of which was an electric bicycle.♨️ was able to feel like a hot spring with the scent of cypress.Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, body towel, and makeup remover were also provided. There is no TV on the first floor, only in the bedroom on the second floor. In winter, there is an irori hearth, so it's nice to have dinner using the irori hearth.I would like to go again.
